Hi! I’m Georgey. The brain and the brawn behind Hosted.
As we head into our second official season, I thought it was time to tell you a little about me and what we do at Hosted.
I have been in events space for over 12 years. I’ve seen and done it all. I’ve worked professionally as a live event performer, a stylist, a florist, an administrator, a catering manager, an interior designer and sometimes (when I’m lucky!), I attend the odd event as a guest!
To me, an event is more than just a party.
It’s a milestone.
A marker in time.
It’s more than the chairs you hire and the napkin you choose. It’s more than the venue. It’s more than the dress.
It’s about how you feel. The way the day flows. The way your guests feel when they enter the room.
It’s about the little things you never had to worry about. The knife that appeared the moment you thought about cutting the cake. The candles that seemed to magically appear just as the sun set. And the way your champagne never seemed to be empty.
That is the magic of Hosted.
We can’t wait to meet you and create some magic together.
