Raving has and always will be political, and the joy generated on dance floors is key to fighting injustice. So we’re back with a stacked line-up, ready to spin tunes in the name of love and solidarity. At the end of October Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 catastrophic tropical cyclone hit communities across the Caribbean causing devastating damages. We are raising funds for @solidarityyaad_ja who are an amazing intentional learning community based in Ocho Rios, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica. "Our movement is 100% community funded. Since 2015, we have been growing radical feminist solutions alongside women, queer, trans, lesbian, and gender expansive survivors of gender based violence (GBV) in Jamaica" (Solidarity Yaad) Their mission is to cultivate regenerative technologies for BIPOC women, girls, and LGBTQI+ gender expansive people towards: Climate Resilience Food Security Economic Advancement Healing Justice The UK owes SO much to Jamaica and the Carribbean, the UK music scene alone has forever been extractive of black artists and their art and entire genres and sound worlds wouldn't exist without black Carribbean artists from soca, ska, rocksteady, reggae to jungle, dub & drum&bass. Our practices cannot be extractive or exploitative, instead rooted in building collective care. It is always our responsibility -those of us who enjoy or profit from arts and culture by black artists- to participate in supporting them and their communities. We are putting on a night of bass music to raise funds for Solidarity Yaad who are supporting some of the most vulnerable people in Jamaica and have been affected by Hurricane Melissa alongside their wider communities. We've got an amazing lineup of 100% Croydon DJs kicking off with a teachings in dub set by Glen T of @love_tko_soundsystem at 7pm through to Riff Raff resident @cronxdon banging the dubstep of home turf. What an absolute pleasure to be invited to @soul_beat_costaest to play a set of dreams yesterday as @djqueenkong representing @wearedrumandbabes ❤️ It is one of my greatest joys to play banging beautiful music to wonderful people, seeing people smiling, dancing, holding their friends, skanking and laughing is literally what it is all about!! How grateful i am to wake up safe in my bed every day, to travel, to visit those I love, to eat, to feel the sun on my skin, to swim in the sea. I am a human first, before I am an artist, before I am a sister, before I am an activist, a teacher, or any other label that I carry. We are all humans first, and nothing matters more than people's lives. The story isn't me, or you, or any band, celebrity, event or politician. The story IS Palestine, it IS Palestinians. Do not become desensitised, every face you see is someone's child, sibling, parent, loved one. Wherever we are in the world, we fight everyday towards collective liberation for all oppressed people, it's liberation for all of us, or none of us!! It is never too late to join the fight, it is all of our responsibility to work towards collective liberation. Especially white and privileged people. There will be hard decisions, you will have to give things up, especially convenience. Do not ever think that this does not affect you, systems of oppression affect everyone, and they all reinforce each other. In 2024 we decided that - given the global political wave against Trans+ people we saw coming - the best use of our time and your support was to open a Trans+ Winter Night Shelter. As a community we managed to build the shelter within 6 weeks and opened on Christmas Eve. The shelter provided over 900 nights off the street over winter 2024/25. Now, we’re doing it all again! The Trans+ Winter Night Shelter will provide a safe, supportive refuge for our Trans+ community who are homeless, escaping domestic abuse, seeking asylum, refugees and at risk of sleeping rough. The Outside Project invites allies, community members, and policymakers to support the Trans+ Winter Night Shelter in any way possible. Tell your rich friends, your boss and your local MP. The Trans+ Winter Night Shelter will provide a safe, supportive refuge for our Trans+ community who are homeless, escaping domestic abuse, seeking asylum, refugees and at risk of sleeping rough. ‘Star Support, the LGBTIQ+ domestic abuse accommodation service, is delighted with the news our partner, The Outside Project, is to launch this much needed resource for our Trans+ community. Many of the people accessing this service will be fleeing violence and this shelter will provide a sanctuary; even more so for people without recourse to public funds who are excluded from most traditionally funded services. The fact that this shelter has been funded by the community, for the community allows the freedom to deliver the service as needed rather than as funded. Announcing special guest! @airbender.dnb !!! Airbender is a DJ, singer and aspiring producer based in North West London, known for her dark and heavy style of DNB, from Jungle to Neurofunk. Gaining attention as a singer and songwriter, credited for music such as megamikes ‘Je Ne Sais Pas’, she has grown to become an influential artist and DJ performing at iconic venues like XOYO, Boxpark Shoreditch & Corsica Studios. In 2024 alone she shared the stage with the biggest names in DNB supporting AMC, Ivy, Mozey and Mandidextrous. Besides her work as a club DJ, Airbender also has presence on the airwaves with her own residency at Dalston Radio and Mode London alongside collective @thedesertsessions showcasing the best in underground sounds and DNB talent. Passionate about raising the next generation of artists, she also runs @connectshunsound , a community-driven sound system and events collective. Airbender’s hard work ethic has established her a standout name within London’s underground scene and is one to watch as here impact grows. Airbender joins @surespirit @djqueenkong @passerpasserpasser in raising money for @lgbtiqoutside #transsheltertranspower campaign. Surespirit was born into the Love TKO soundsystem family and co-owns a heavyweight rig. Naturally, Surespirit was surrounded by black music culture and everything that embodies. Her musical knowledge enabled her to embrace sub genres such as ,oldskool house, garage, jungle and dnb. She started her dj journey collecting and playing vinyl belting out classics and dubplates and has also embraced digital platforms. She was a regular fixture at London’s Notting Hill Carnival as well as playing at a range of intimate gigs in local venues both paid and charitable. She has a love for dark basslines, melodic tones and enjoys taking people on a musical journey. Surespirit is a regular raver on the club scene who equally enjoys being part of the hype crowd.
 @djqueenkong Queen Kong is a queer multi-genre DJ and musician, and the founder of Drum&Babes collective. Queen Kong is a working-class deejay, whose career was born out of love for and belief in parties and the power of dance-floors, collaboration, and creating safe social spaces to be. Spinning at free parties and festivals to mutual aid spaces and peoples kitchens, Queen Kong is known to bring good vibes. They are a community organiser and their creative work is often centred in collaborative responses to society, this is often reflected in their genre-fluid selections. Their sets range from groovy disco dance-outs on sunshine-filled rooftops, to dark, industrial drum & bass in the early hours of the morning, always groove-led, Queen Kong’s sets are guaranteed to have the dancefloor going all night long.

passer; DJ, radio host and producer, musician, activist, and events organiser. From co-founding Queer House Party and Sets for Solidarity to hosting and producing Radio Calais, she uses music as a way to share stories and amplify the voices of those who are often left out. We’re coming hot off of Glastonbury, Cronx Live at RiffRaff and Body Riot, 2025 has seen the collective bring the flinta fire to the decks, trascending genres boundaries and bringing high energy and liberation to the dance floor, raising funds and supporting radical causes with d.i.y. chaos and community care. We’re gassed to be heading down to the infamous queer south london local, the Old Nun’s Head and we’re bringing hot queer community energy in the name of mutual aid. Expect a genre mashup from some gorgeous gender minority deejays coming thru the legendary Love TKO Soundsystem brought in especially for this rinse out. It’s gonna be big, loud and proud. All funds raised will go directly to The Outside Project. The Outside Project is an LGBTIQ+ Community Shelter, Centre and Domestic Abuse Refuge in response to those within the LGBTIQ+ community who feel endangered, who are homeless, ‘hidden’ homeless and feel that they are on the outside of services due to historical and present prejudice in society and in their homes.
