How do we transform a vital industrial corridor into a greener, more connected space for people and nature? We are working with the @newhamlondon , transport consultants @steer_group , and horticultural expert @errolreubenfernandes to reimagine the Cody Road corridor in Canning Town. This project grounds our strategic vision in tangible delivery. Following our development of the Canning Town Enterprise Hub Strategic Regeneration Framework in 2025, we are working on delivering: 🚴 Active travel and connectivity: Upgrading pedestrian and cycling routes to create a safer, more legible gateway near Star Lane DLR 🍃 Climate resilience: Introducing green infrastructure to boost biodiversity, improve air quality, and offset carbon ♻️ Circular delivery: Demonstrating material reuse and embedding local commissioning We’ll be working alongside with @cody_dockers and responding to the targets of Newham’s Carbon Offset Fund to ensure that the rapid growth of East London is matched by the sustainability of its public realm. Tom Fox featured in @arch_today 's ongoing ‘Reinventing Practice’ series, photographed by @timothysoarphotographer as part of the Regenerative Architecture Index. As Senior Associate, Tom leads the practice’s strategies and masterplans alongside his Climate Champion role at We Made That. Most recently this includes building circular industries while restoring riverside ecology in Canning Town and Cody Road Spatial Regeneration Framework. The feature gives a wider glimpse into our approach to regenerative practice, from 'cool routes' in Croydon and our 'retrofit triage' tool, to engaging over 4,700 people across our projects - enabling us to reach wider communities year on year. ♻️To read the full feature, click the link in bio. #RegenerativeArchitecture #ArchitectureToday #ReinventingPractice

Against intense pressure to deliver, we’re proud that we still found space and time as a team for reflection. This year of focusing on Rights to Place has made us firmer in our commitment to equitable practice. What has emerged from 2025 is a framework for better questions. The five rights we identified, to a Healthy City, to a Home, to Care, to Difference, and to a Voice, are not abstract ideals. They are practical tests that we intend to apply with greater consistency and rigour across every brief we take on in 2026. They correspond to duties: ours as practitioners, and those of the clients, communities and institutions we work alongside. Read our Impact Report 2025: Foregrounding Rights. Sneaking a peek at progress in Weston-super-Mare 🌊🏊‍♀️✨ We're helping @northsomersetlife deliver key improvements across the town as part of their £20 million Government funded programme, with works now progressing on site. At Marine Lake, works are underway to re-invigorate and secure the future of this valued but dilapidated community facility. Works include walkway re-surfacing, new welcome ‘gateway’ signage, the re-introduction of public toilets, and the potential for paddle board and watersports hire facilities. Grove Park's main entrance has been transformed with welcoming paving, sustainable drainage and community-chosen planting, plus a new shingle-clad public toilets within the park will support the park café and community events. New wayfinding is guiding people through the town centre too. We’ve been working with Fenton Holloway, @robertbrayassociates , @superculturewsm and @xco2_e to bring these valued spaces back to life as a vibrant, year-round destination. Food is an international language, but in the Royal Docks it is also the literal foundation of its urban history. As a local resident and researcher, Joanna Dong @jojojojojo520 is exploring how the area’s legacy as the UK’s largest historic food trading hub can be transformed into a tool for community-led redevelopment. Joanna is developing a co-created walking tour that uses food, from the silhouette of Millennium Mills to the diverse flavours of modern immigrant communities, as a medium to empower residents and embed their voices into the narratives of urban change. Her work draws on years of grassroots experience, including co-founding theatre production-based Community Interest Company and leading @FeastFest , a community cultural festival rooted in the sensory power of food in Newham. Read more about Joanna's research as the residency continues. Link in bio. Image credits: @FeastFest #UrbanResearch #ResearchInPlace #RoyalDocks #FoodHeritage #CommunityLed #Regeneration #PlaceMaking

What next for London’s high streets? Amidst major shifts including the COVID-19 pandemic, evolving economic pressures and changing work patterns, understanding the evolution of London’s high streets is vital to ensuring they continue to serve all Londoners and contribute to the city’s future growth. We’re delighted to be working with the Greater London Authority on a new research commission that revisits and builds on over a decade of our high street research. Partnering with @prd_places and Professors Matthew Carmona and Laura Vaughan from @thebartlettucl , we’ll be combining large-scale quantitative data analysis with on-the-ground research across London, returning to Clapton, Burnt Oak, and Lewisham to capture how these places have changed since our ‘High Streets for All’ study in 2017. 👀Read more in bio 📷 Philipp Ebeling #London #HighStreets #Regeneration #UrbanResearch #LondonGrowthPlan #Placemaking

Planning permission secured for Curious Minds’ new home at Wigan Pier After 15+ years standing vacant, #Wigan Pier 2 is being transformed into a permanent base for the nationally significant cultural education charity, Curious Minds. The adaptive re-use of this historic building will create spaces where children and young people can “create, make and belong alongside brilliant artists” whilst providing professional development hubs for teaching artists across the region. The building will house flexible studios, collaborative workspaces, and a gallery for exhibitions and digital collaboration. When heritage buildings find new purpose through organisations driving genuine social impact, entire communities benefit. 🙌 @curiousmindsnw , @insallarch , @the_lk_group and @makedevelopments 🙌 Read more in bio. #HeritageReuse #CulturalEducation #WiganPier CreativeIndustries CommunityImpact RegionalDevelopment
