What an amazing day at @britishrowing Junior Inter-Regional finals in Nottingham! X4 GOLDS for WBSBC representing Thames Up River East (1 of 16 UK rowing regions!) J14 coxed quad J15 coxed quad J16 coxless quad and J15 double! Plus very good performances in j16 pairs and j15 fours and J16 eights! Awesome day and huge thank you to all the parents too!

What an amazing 4 weeks!! Training camp in Portugal (52 boys) then onto Ghent Spring Regatta in Belgium! Following on from Amsterdam Head of Heineken, Schools Head, Junior Sculling Head and Great Britain Trials. Ghent was amazing - biggest ever team taken to an international regatta Following- 60 boys! Morrell MBE received a Lifetime Achievement Award from British Rowing at the London Rowing Club, presented by Olympian Adam Freeman-Pask @adamfreemanpask , left, and World U23 Champion Isaac Workman, right @isaacworkman_ Joining @thewindsorboysschool in 1976, 2026 sees 50 years of continuous service! No one is more truly deserving then Chris of being honoured! It’s estimated that he has influenced over 15,000 young athletes at TWBS, not just in rowing but in rugby and other sports too, making their sporting dreams a reality. His wisdom for WBSBC, especially with the J14 squad, is invaluable and influences us all!. As J14 boys we don’t truly realise the impact he makes until after we’ve left, but the athletes will come to appreciate it! What a day yesterday at Dorney Lake for the @wintech_racing @oarsport National Junior Sculling Head .. in 1st Boat events GOLD J18 Quads, GOLD J16 Quads, GOLD J15 Octuples GOLD J14 Octuples, SILVER J17 Quads, SILVER J15 quads and in 2nd Boat categories , GOLD J18 Quads, GOLD J16 Quads GOLD J17 quads, plus a host of other fantastic performances from the 78 boys who raced J14-18 - across all year groups they were fantastic! Following on from Schools Head, Thames Up River Qualification Trials, GB trials in Nottingham, Head of Heineken in Amsterdam - it has been an incredible few weeks for @thewindsorboysschool @windsorschoolssixthform @windsorlearningpartnership - ONWARDS! Camp in Portugal , Ghent Regatta Belgium and then the Regatta season to come all ahead of us!

All set for day 2 in Amsterdam! A cracking day here - flat calm ! And blue sky! Today is the 5000m race this morning and the 750m sprint this afternoon A cumulative result from all 4 races from Saturday and Sunday will determine the final results!
