INTRODUCING WAYWRD CREATIVE

I do a lot more than just photography. My education is in visual communication design, and I cut my teeth as an art director for Germany's largest online beauty retailer for almost three years. One could say that creative conception is what I do best.

But what if I told you that my practical experience as a photographer and the hours I spent working hands-on on-set meant that when I come up with creative ideas, I automatically know how to execute them?
.
What I do is more than photography and videography, and it is more than creative direction and strategy and graphic design. It's all of it together - perfectly tailored to deliver the most impact for whatever budget is available. The challenge is knowing how to make the most out of the resources you have, and the fun is in having a good challenge 😉
When I quit my job at @flaconi as an art director after 2.5 years, I stole a lot from them.

Not any products – I paid a lot of money for this @commedesgarcons . I spent 2.5 years closely watching how the photographers sculpted light to create images where a product looked like a work of art (see slide 3 for all the images that led to the final photo). I saw all of their tricks, both on set and in Photoshop, and I took them with me. I stole like an artist.
.
Now I use all of that knowledge to work as a photographer who thinks like an art director. Or an art director who knows the techniques needed to create an image. In doing so I'm able to work fast, efficient, and stay tighter to the creative brief because my creative concepts are designed with the photoshoot in mind.

Minu is a queer artist of Egyptian heritage working between performance, choreography, and embodied research. Their practice explores how memory, identity, and resistance live within the body.

Through their work with Somatic Belly Dance, Minu creates spaces where movement becomes a tool for reconnection, healing, and community. Their workshops invite participants to listen to the body, exploring sensation, rhythm, and presence as pathways toward collective care.

Based in Berlin, Minu continues to develop performances and collaborative projects that investigate vulnerability, transformation, and the expressive power of the body.

Last year, Poodle’s film project – FRONT LEFT (@_front_left ) – engaged Berlin’s queer and trans club scene in one of the biggest community collaborations I’ve seen in years.
.
The film – a trans retelling of Inanna’s underworld journey – was shot last November at @oxi_club . Over five days of filming, an entirely queer cast and crew gathered together some of the hottest club kids to ever grace a screen.
.
The film is still in the editing phase, but it may just be the most authentic representation of the Berlin queer party scene that you’ll ever see on film. Look for its release in 2026!

It’s hard to believe that only a year ago none of us knew each other. What brought us together was a shared vision: building an affordable studio space for us and our community, a creative hub to collaborate, experiment and grow together. Now that we’ve found a long-term home in the heart of Kreuzberg we can’t wait to open our doors and share it with the community that inspired it.

About SWEAT: A DJ collective and club night dedicated to queer and trans people in Copenhagen and Berlin. EDITORIAL: T4T Car Wash pt.2 for @sweat_rave_collective
This photoshoot meant a lot to me. I pitched a wild creative idea to my friends who were just as excited to make these photos as I was. I got to creative direct an editorial from the initial idea to the final photoshoot and packaging for social media. Making creative work with an all-queer team brings joy to my heart.
Models came hungover but fabulous. We got kicked out of a car wash. We got a bullshit parking ticket from hanging out too long in an empty Getränke Hoffmann parking lot on a Sunday (it was closed btw). And I couldn't be more proud of what we created.
