There’s a real emotional honesty to Solene’s writing and we really enjoyed building these songs with her to reflect that.

Paradox - NARB drum recording
Tracked this last year for @petemacparadox at @wavefieldrecordings in Clonalilty. What you're seeing is take 3 which we used for the final track. We overdubed some extra drums for the mellow part in the middle and used one small part of take 2 towards the end. Super fun session and a fantastic place to record.

So long 2024, you really kept us on our toes and gave us so much to be grateful for.
As we take some downtime to enjoy our beautiful corner of the world, we want to say a heart felt thank you to the many friends old and new who trusted us to guide them on their record making journey this year.
We’ve been proud to see bands in their earliest stages go out and start conquering the world, while also being inspired by artists further along the path produce some of their best work yet.
…and there is so much to look forward to in the coming year.

@eve.clague has contributed so much to the music of Clonakilty, Cork and beyond performing live with a huge number of ensembles in all sorts of stages and corners, and she never fails to bring joy to anyone within earshot!
So it’s especially satisfying to have made this record show casing Eve’s brilliant way with melody, her distinctive acoustic guitar work and beautifully honest songwriting.
Producing and playing on this record was such a pleasure, and I know the other contributers to this album felt the same.

It’s an epic Irish folk opera like no other.
We’re incredibly privileged to have produced and mixed it, as well as getting deep into sound design and unconventional instrumentation.
Based on the mythology of The Lough in Cork, John created timeless stories and characters which were brought to life by the incredible voices of :
