As someone who’s made a lot of guitar based music recently, making an album centred around the harp was a really exciting prospect, the fact that gigantic synth basses, sampled soundscapes and general sonic experimentation were involved made it all the better.
The result is “The Other Place” a brilliant collection of songs by
@aislingurwin_harp that start somewhere in the ether of the universe and she so brilliantly put it - end up in her back garden.
Incredibly proud to be involved in making this and a huge thanks to the many great players who brought their talent and hung in there as I arranged parts on the fly.
It’s got Juno’s stamp of approval too so you know it’s good 🐾
