I just did an in depth analysis of the mastering for the songs nominated for Record of the Year at the @grammys by downloading the highest possible quality files from @qobuz and then analyzing the LUFS, True Peak, and Dynamic Range of each production using @izotopeinc RX. My findings were quite interesting, with almost half the nominees’ True Peak exceeding 0 dBFS. Combine all the nominees, and the average LUFS is -8.41.
