Wow! After 5 years all we can say is that we are grateful and thankful that you have allowed us to take rest, take stock, and to build capacity. It is a blessing to continue to receive grace from our community.
To the pillars of the work that we do: THE ARTISTS! We are so grateful to be given the trust to work with you over the years and to continue building relationships with artists throughout the Baltimore area.
Thank you to our Patreon supporters. As we have rested, you have allowed for us to build a budget to support artists, this year our 5th year!
The biggest thank you to the volunteers who, threw painting walls, gallery assisting, and outreaching have really built who we are today. We as a small gallery rely on our supporters as well as artists to continue and to thrive and without you we are just a space waiting. Excited to be activated.
A big thank you to all those that came out to support our beautiful new project The Waller Fellowship with the talented artist @traem3 !!! When we open our doors and try something new you all are always there to give us support, feedback, and good times. This was the artist's first open studio in a while and you all created an active and engaging environment. Thank you one more time. -Waller Management

This is my painting. I think about how this post will be shadow banned for mentioning Palestine. I think about the art platforms in Baltimore and beyond who will ignore this painting. I think about how this painting won't make it onto exhibition walls because it's for Palestine. I think about the opportunities and art institutions I've been pushed out of because of my advocacy and refusal to accept complicity and be silent. Keep speaking up. The genocide in Palestine is not isolated. As a Central American and as a person living in Baltimore, forces like BPD and ICE are trained by the IOF and are using tactics learned by the ongoing colonization, occupation and genocide of Palestinians on Black and Brown communities. We cannot be free until we all are, our struggles are interconnected.
I'm asking you to help beat censorship by sharing and reposting my painting. If you know of calls for art that will support art like mine, send them my way. Shout out to these Baltimore spaces who aren't afraid to speak up @makingspace_bmore@bmoreartistsagainstapartheid@crows.nest.baltimore@wallergallery Put more shoutouts in the comments, wherever you live!
You can read more about this painting in a previous post. I will be adding an official description and incantation to my website in the coming weeks.

I’m honored to share that my piece “I Pray For His Return Home” will be part of the ICE OUT OF BALTIMORE exhibition organized by Baltimore Artists Against Apartheid.
—
This piece reflects on separation, prayer, and the hope of return—something many families experience under systems of detention and displacement.
Grateful to be showing alongside so many artists using their work to speak, resist, and imagine something different.

#fuckice
