Weeks posts
Before the day wraps let’s give a big thanks to all the hands making food drive happen week after week, month after month. We are seeing less individuals come by to drop off donations. We know life gets busy but the work continues and we are not going anywhere. We hope you will continue to join with us on this journey toward care and compassion. Help spread the word and see you hopefully at the next food drive!

So much love at the Spring Market 🌻🪷 Thank you everyone who came out last night to support our immigrant community and Baltimore’s incredible artists at the Bromo Art Walk. We’re so lucky to have our community with us to support the work! 50-100% of all proceeds from vendors will be going to impacted families in our region. Deepest gratitude to vendors, organizers, bakers, artists, volunteers, visitors and everyone in between! You are why we can continue this work ☺️🎨💜

This Mother’s Day, we honor the mothers carrying the unimaginable weight of separation, detention, deportation and uncertainty. 💔🌹 To the moms whose loved ones were taken into ICE detention, to the mothers forced to continue holding their families together alone, and to the mothers who themselves are currently sitting inside detention centers today, we see you, we honor you, and we stand with you. No mother should have to spend Mother’s Day separated from her children or family because of detention and deportation. Yet even through fear, grief, and exhaustion, so many of you continue to lead your families with strength, love, and resilience. Your courage does not go unseen. Your love continues to hold families together across walls, distance, and pain. ❤️ Today and every day, we are sending love to all migrant mothers and all families impacted by detention.

On February 3rd, Delia was suddenly detained by ICE and deported to Honduras, leaving her 13-year-old son and sister behind in Baltimore. As the family’s primary breadwinner, her absence has left them struggling to cover rent and basic bills. Please consider donating to help Delia’s family navigate this heartbreaking and uncertain future. Every little bit helps! 🧡 Donar: https://gofund.me/f8bf2dd65

Join us in celebrating Butterfly Week! 🦋 Support businesses that are standing with our immigrant community. 💐🧖🏽‍♀📚☕💞 Whether you are looking for last minute Mother’s Day gifts, a place to grab brunch with your bestie, or a self care treat, you can feel good knowing the money you are spending during Butterfly Week will be supporting families living who have been torn apart and traumatized by our immigration system. Every family should be able to be together on Mother’s Day. Sadly, many children will not be able to hug their mom this year because they have been unjustly deported and separated. Let’s show them that they are not alone. Show your proof of donation to receive discounts, enter into a raffle, or order the Butterfly Special at the participating businesses this Mother’s Day to be part of a community effort to show our support and solidarity. It’s up to us as neighbhors to come together. Let’s make Mother’s Day extra special this year. #ButterflyWeekBaltimore Participating businesses so far for Butterfly Week: @charmcityskin @dylansoystercellar @babysonfirecafe @lovelyarns @shiny_happy_things @wishbone_reserve @bazaarbaltimore @commongroundworkers @rest_for_the_wicked_mt @mtvfitness @29th_street_tavern @motzi.bread @currentspace @sakoonindianfusion @newasiantastehampden

Let's come together for this Cecil County family 💌 Abraham has been in ICE detention since February 2025 and faces potential deportation to Suriname. His absence has left his wife, Joanna, struggling to manage the household and mounting medical and legal debts alone. Despite the hardship, their children remain resilient, but the family urgently needs financial support to cover essential expenses and fight for their reunion. Any contribution or effort to share their story will make a meaningful difference for this family. 🧡Donate: https://gofund.me/d4a473e77

Another day another food drive ☺️ We’re grateful to share the organized chaos with all of our amazing volunteers 💞 Food support is only one of the things we do and so much work goes into all of this that will never be seen, but in the end we are making a world of difference in so many lives. Thank you to all the ones who show up even though you’re tired and juggling so much in your own lives; thank you to those who donate even while trying to stay afloat of your own mounting bills; thank you to those who keep sharing and are relentless about reminding your friends and family week after week no matter who might be bothered by the persistence; thank you to the shoppers #foodfairies who go out of their way to make sure we keep meeting all the needs every week. We can go on. This work needs all of us. The more they try to harm our community, *especially* those most targeted among us, the more we will show up. Week. After. Week. We hope you too. See you next time!
