The Last Walt III is becoming like Luck Reunion – an annual event that could only happen in Austin, and I anticipate the next installment immediately after the most recent edition closes. So much unpredictable joy flowing out of both the crowd AND the performers. And so much work being done behind the scenes that we’ll never know about.
Mad props to @walkerlukens for his dedication to bringing something unique and bright at a time when the world seems so bland and dark. And huge props to his band and every artist who poured their energy into making us chuckle, weep, and cheer. See you next year.
