five years ago to the day i released my debut album ‘take what you need’. @skinnypicss and i worked so freaking hard on this record and it kinda feels funny looking back and realizing how little i knew about songwriting or production or even music in general while we were working on this. i hear myself trying to figure myself and my tastes out on each track. skinny is a sage and a saint and a wizard though and i learned so much about being an artist from them. i’m really glad the cover of the album was both of us because it really felt like a joint collaboration through and through. my next record is coming out really soon , but if you’d like to hear where i was at at 19 years old you can give take what you need a spin in the meantime. much much much love ❤️
