I hate to do this but I have to talk some sh*t about @lucchese . I bought these boots 2 summers ago, and they’ve fallen completely apart. The leather is cracked and split. The wooden pegs in the arch have all fallen out. The rubber heel caps made black marks all over my floor, and on the inside I’ve the opposite boots… the heels are completely ground off. I’ve owned loads of vintage Lucchese boots (side 3 is a 20 year old boot made in San Antonio) and they’ve always been great. I complained about this loss of quality to Lucchese and received a boiler plate response, saying nothing could be done for me. Absolutely last pair of @lucchese boots I will own. (Also: I bought these boots on the road, picked them up in Dallas as I drove by… they were SIZED INCORRECTLY. I wear and 11 and they were an 11.5 or 12 and had to be manufactured by Lucchese to even fit correctly to begin with, WTF?!?)
