TQ for TQ: Too Queer for Tourniquets, is an interactive installation and documentation introducing tactical first aid knowledge and practice to the queer community. The installation consists in a text written in the form of a commentary on the reappropriation of military knowledge and a diary exploring ARSÈNE'S experience navigating their activism in Ukraine since the full-scale russian invasion as well as their conscription as a combat medic during their military service in Switzerland. The audience is invited to engage with the instruction sheets and tourniquets available to explore the practice of self-teaching and community skill crafting. A video documents this exercise as two participants attempt to create an instruction guide with the help of ARSÈNE. In the confusion, failures and success portrayed honestly on the screen, the audience is guided in their attempt to manipulate a tourniquet while able to draw inspiration from this organic moment of skill sharing and discovery. The installation was presented on June 8 at @pawilon_poznan in the context of the event "What can the East offer to the West?" closing the program of the same title established by @s_a_damczak during his residency at Pawilon.

STOP THE BLEED ❌ Last week we delivered our first training with newly formed @tacticaid group, in the form of a combined introduction to Survival/Basic First Aid. On 16-17 May we will bring our knowledge to London for two intensive Basic First Aid/Stop the Bleed trainings with @wolf_pack_ldn Why train even though we are not professionals? Because we believe it is our responsibility to do so. In light of everlasting geopolitical instability, natural disasters and social distress, building resilient communities and societies is a necessity. Basic First Aid skills are scarce among people and we want to change that by passing on our knowledge to the widest audience possible. I'm proud to join my friends and colleagues @maxvonmad & @egor_xgohx_ in this daring adventure. Don't wait any further - join our Discord community and contact us to organise a training. Keep yourself and your community safe 🖤

Spent another 3 weeks in the Swiss military🇨🇭 I'm gonna write a book soon about how insane this army experience has been so far. From my own reality of the war in Ukraine to playing soldiers in the mountains with a group of conscripted boys, I've seen a lot of weird things. What stuck with me this time is how cool shooting a light machine gun is, how cold gets really cold when you're exposed for entire days at -10 and how the military is essentially a bunch of horny teenagers running around with live ammunition.

Another car, another ride, another successful delivery for our friends @kharkiv_hardcore fighting hard on the frontline 🇺🇦 Let's hope this beast rides as long as possible to help our fighters repell the never ending ruzzian aggressions. Times are getting worse and Ukrainians need donations, weapons and humanitarian aid now more than ever. The car was prepared by @xvx.tacticaid , painted by @ezomaciek and driven by @xromeckix and myself from Warsaw all the way to Kharkiv. The city stands strong even though it is only 30km away from ruzzian positions and being shelled constantly. 1. A blurry but proud picture taken as we handed the car over to our friends. Worldwide solidarity is not an option but a must in these atrocious times. 2. Entering Ukraine. 3-4-5. Painting process. 6. Entering Kharkiv. 7. 30km on the map seems even closer than it feels. 8. Shelter at the small Lubny train station. 9. Air raid siren as we ride back with the train at night. 10. Ruzzian drone 3d printed. 11. A routine tribute visit on Maidan square. 12. Ruzzian first aid leaflet which definitely didn't help... 13. Helping @solidaritycollectives with micrologistics for their upcoming humanitarian trip. 14. Train back to Warszawa. 15. Enjoying Ukrainian culture and rest with my dear friends in Kyiv. 16. Coming back to the already grey Warszawa.
