VOLTA PRESENTS VIDEOPOLIS [FR] SUNDAY 22ND MARCH @therechabitehall World-renowned French audiovisual artists @franckvigroux and @antoine.schmitt return to Boorloo/Perth with their new performance VIDEOPOLIS. A live audiovisual duo blending intense electronic sound with generative visual systems. Vigroux’s raw, physical electronics meet Schmitt’s algorithmic visual art to probe tension, rhythm, and control. Together they build immersive, high-impact works where sound and image act as a single evolving structure. VIDEOPOLIS emerges from a world overwhelmed with images corrupted by hostile forces.Toxic algorithms distort truth, blur perception, and pit viewpoints against each other until they cancel out. These images flood our visual and cognitive fields to better manipulate and pacify the masses. VIDEOPOLIS poses a fundamental question: how can it be countered? WITH SUPPORT FROM @ptmc303 (LIVE) Artwork by @parity.check Tix in bio 🎟 We pay respects to the traditional custodians of the land we gather, perform, and share electronic music on: the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation. Sovereignty was never ceded. We acknowledge and value their central role in the vitality of this region across millennia - past, present, and future. Always was, always will be.

0F.digital sculpts abstract, minimal electronics with handheld consoles, Nanoloop, portable sequencers and samplers. Influenced by the sounds of Autechre, SND, Pan Sonic and Steve Reich, their live sets prize precision rhythm, tactile textures, and shifting patterns from pocket-sized machines, executed with ruthless focus. Hailing from Naarm/Melbourne, they’ll bring a distinct spin on live electronics this VOLTA. Catch them at the next edition of VOLTA at The Bird on Thursday, November 6th. @0f.digital

Alligator Rex deliver live hyperpop/art‑pop built from sequenced synths, pounding drums and pitch‑slewed vocals, for nostalgic, punchy, and chaotic sets. Inspired by the sounds of 100 gecs, FKA twigs and Charli XCX, they rework that energy on hardware for the stage. Expect autotuned singing over razor‑edged beats and mangled synth hooks. Catch them at the next edition of VOLTA at The Bird on Thursday, November 6th. @alligatorrex.wav

SARCO are a hardware‑driven trio channeling classic acid house into something equally hedonistic and nihilistic. Live vocals cut through pulsing drum‑machine grooves and delay‑drenched synth lines, built straight from the machines for the floor. They'll be debuting brand-new material fresh from the studio. Catch them at the next edition of VOLTA on Thursday, November 6th at The Bird. @sarco.wav
