Thanks to @fifa@fifaworldcup for this incredible opportunity to talk about all things Atlanta and the story telling behind my lens. Special thanks to @luke.moreau and @noahmediagroup for stumbling into my photography and the video call from London on that Friday morning back in November that started all this. Cheers, mate! šš»

Iām excited and honored that CBS News Atlanta featured my photography and the stories Iāve been documenting around the city. āØWhen Donald first reached out, he asked me: āwhat stories do you think often go untold?ā
Iāve been reflecting on that ever since. For me, itās the small human moments most people pass by without noticing āthe quiet gestures of working people, the resiliency of our communities or the overlooked corners of the city that still hold beauty. My camera has always been my way of paying attention to those stories, and of reminding myself (and hopefully others) that people, in their humanity and heritage, are truly special. I hope when you see this piece, youāll see not just me taking pictures, but the people in them. Because if I manage to do that, then Iām able to connect that person in the photo to the person looking at it. And if I manage to do that, then Iāve done my part in nurturing human compassion and my work is done.
I never expected my work to reach this kind of platform, but Iām grateful for the chance to share a bit of Atlanta through my lens. A warm thank you to @official_dfound and @cbsnewsatlanta for showing interest in my work and our Latinx community. It was a pleasure to share my creative process and home for this conversation.
Hereās the story along with some of the photos that I took that day! Full video for the story in my stories/bio and here:

A huge shoutout to everyone whoās (unaware) appearance in this story made it all possible:

Atlanta Lately.
My favorite slide is 3. Pinch to zoom in- spotting this interaction of two very opposite generations intrigued me. Both in āstrollersā, both being pushed by their loved ones, both heading to opposite ends of the street.
Mention yours!
Thanks to everyone for the outpour of support and love on my @fifaworldcup Stories From The Cities segment š«¶š» all still feels surreal to me. Check my last reel if you havenāt watched it! I appreciate you all greatly! Hereās some of the featured photos that I took during filming that day.

Weāre all moving to the rhythm of the city. Crossing paths for a second, then gone the next. Iām glad I get to capture these moments before strangers walk away, unaware they were briefly part of someone elseās story.
Whatās your favorite slide and why?

š„³ Another trip around the sun. Grateful for the people, the moments, and the version of me that kept showing up through it all. Hereās to more life, more stories, more pictures, and more of becoming a better man.

A little collection of photographs taken through glass, against glass, off glass, with glass, and everything in between. P.s. did I post two days in a row??? I must be in a good mood š
Lots of hard light, lots of cold, no clear destination, just following my instinct with my camera. Tens of thousands of steps, no chance to sit down, just capturing every scene NYC had to give me. Which it always has plenty of, and here are a few of them. Thank you for your magic, New York šøš«¶š»
Last Weekend fue un Baile Inolvidable š thank you Atlanta for showing out! if you see your besties tag them in the comments. And that Benito Bowl energy is just a taste of whatās coming this summer š
