Vanishing Roots takes us to Akyenim, a small fishing community in western Ghana where cutting mangroves once seemed harmless until fish became hard to find and frequent floods occurred. Now, with support and education from Hen Mpoano, the community is replanting mangroves together with a dream of making it a protected mangrove zone. A film by
