THIS IS MY HEART is a collaborative short film initiatiated by artist @joseph_marr_ and centered on his installation OPEN HEART. The film is created by @ilyamarcus@xnmldv@maciejrolbiecki and myself and we are delighted to share the finished piece with you on Sunday 3 May 2026 at Berghain Kantine, together with the book launch about said installation by @distanzverlag . 18:00 doors open accompanied by a musical warm up set by @rrucculla whose original music is also in the film. 19:00 film screening followed by an afterparty with none other than @mandelturnerofficial . Come early as the capacity is very limited. First come first served🧡

Diesmal zu Gast: Viktor Jakovleski, @viktorious____ , Regisseur des Films RAVE ON, der gerade in den deutschen Kinos läuft.
Wir haben uns das erste Mal Backstage auf dem 60. Geburtstag von Sven Väth getroffen – und jetzt sprechen wir über Viktors neuen Film, seine Zusammenarbeit mit Nikias Chryssos, den außergewöhnlichen Cast rund um Aaron Altaras, Clemens Schick und Hieroglyphic Being.
Es geht aber nicht nur um Namen, sondern auch um die Clubatmosphäre als filmischen Raum, über kreative Arbeitsprozesse und darüber, wie man ein Projekt angeht, das bewusst neue Wege geht.

🪩 In „Rave on“ spielt Aaron Altaras einen einst gefeierten Produzenten, der seinem Rave-Idol eine Vinylplatte mit seinen Tracks in einem Berliner Techno-Club übergeben will.
🎉 Für die beiden Filmemacher Viktor Jakovleski und Nikias Chryssos war wichtig, dass das Szenario in Berlin spielt. Einerseits, weil sie damit auf das Thema des Clubsterbens aufmerksam machen wollen. Aber auch, weil Berlin in der Clubkultur einen besonderen Stellenwert hat.
👯♂️ „Die Begegnungen, die man im Club so haben kann, auch Freundschaften, die wirklich halten, das ist in Berlin einmalig“, sagt der Regisseur Viktor Jakovleski.
