BAGEL BIRTHDAY BASH in a Club - 💿 always make me think of 🥯 so when @quacksalba who is a DJ and Music journalist asked me to come up with a food concept for her 30th Birthday in a club in Munich, I thought about hanging an installation of CDs that I glued on a Hoola Hoop. As the theme of thenigvr was 2000s MTV Music Award I was like: YES let’s go Toxic, Britney Beet Bitch und Ice Ice Baby in Baby Blue. All colors are Natural! For the launch of the diamond-shaped porcelain cup by @porzellanmanufakturnymphenburg x @mcmworldwide I created a culinary concept rooted in craftsmanship, design and storytelling — inspired by the cup’s geometry and materiality, MCM’s Bavarian rhombus 💠 our shared roots in Munich, where the three of us were born, and the Seoul connection that links both MCM and recently me. I’ll share more of the culinary details behind this creative project in the next post.
