REMEMBRANCE - a Men’s Monthly Gathering
A guided experience hosted by @mvmtstudio_ , led by @vi.sama_ & @rubenandries_ , for men ready to slow down, reconnect, and rise together.
Each month we meet around a living theme and explore it through:
• guided movement
• breath
• sharing circle
• cold immersion
• sauna integration
We begin in the body, allowing sensation and movement to lead, then come into circle to speak honestly and be witnessed in a safe, confidential space.
Cold immersion and sauna are used intentionally to build resilience, meet discomfort with awareness, and support the nervous system through contrast, heat, and rest.
After the gathering, you’ll receive a reflection guide to deepen the theme until the next month.
This space is for men who are ready to:
• consciously close a chapter and begin a new one
• speak truth without fixing or performing
• rise as part of a grounded, intentional community

I thought I had it all: a good job, a home, a family.
But deep down, I knew something was missing.
I thought I had built the “right” life.
Good job. Good money. A home. A family.
But inside, my body was shutting down.
Tension. Stress. Disconnection. Numbness.
Leaving the safe path wasn’t easy.
I walked away from my corporate career, lived as a nomad, and eventually landed in Portugal.
That’s where I reconnected with my body: through movement, breath, and presence.
It wasn’t without challenges.
I ended my relationship, sold my home, closed a business, and rebuilt my life from zero.
But in that space, I found truth again:
the body shows you what the mind ignores.
Movement brought me back.
Strength. Mobility. Expression.
Grounded masculinity.
A sense of being alive again.
Now I help men do the same —
men who feel stiff, stressed, or stuck in a life that looks good on paper but feels tight in the body.

This is one of my favorite mobility flows.
And it’s so simple.
I come back to it again and again … because it works.
It opens everything: hips, spine, shoulders…
We don’t need complex routines.
Sometimes, the most powerful shifts come from the simplest practices. 1. Deep squat → fingers under feet 2. Lift hips, fold into forward bend 3. Return to squat 4. Knees down → hands to heels → backbend 5. Come back to squat 6. Repeat
