A few weeks ago I completed a two week initiative as one of 5 filmmakers to be paired with researchers to create a science inspired short experimental film with the theme of “the beauty of mathematics”. About two weeks ago we screened our work in progress documentary Safe At Home: Breaking The Cycle as part of @bricbrooklyn Documentary Intensive Cohort. We explored the connection between black moms postpartum depression and black men’s mental health. The response was amazing and we can’t wait to finish showing you the rest of the conversations we have in store. Link in our bio for our fundraiser.
