The sequential equation engine was the new medium through which the hybrid brain received information.
They carried precise sets of instructions which 'agent' BCIs used to directly reconfigure the neural architecture of its viewer.
These engines, commonly called ASSIs are compressed data packets of instantly assimilable information allowing for large amounts of information to be shared instantly among humans. They remain incomprehensible to the unactivated mind.

Sands of Time is the debut project of my 6 member artist collective; @alapraxis
Conceived early last year amidst the reality of Lagos' ever shifting coastline, we travelled to Dar es Salaam to further investigate the continental and global issue of excessive sand mining and coastal gentrification in coastal cities.
Our process has moved from research to work-shopping, prototyping, speculation and presentation. I'm very proud of all the theoretical and technical work that has come out of it and I'm glad we now have the opportunity to share it with a Lagos audience.
This exhibition has journeyed through several coastal cities; Dar es Salaam, Dakar and now Lagos. Curated by @chinyere.obieze with the support of @goetheinstitut_nigeria
The exhibition runs from Wed, 16 July to Sat, 20 July at 13 Elsie Femi Pearce Street, VI, Lagos. It opens Wednesday at 5pm
(RSVP with tix.africa/sandsoftime)

2019 saw the lift off of the Deadhead spaceship travelling the galaxy in the search of the hardest UK jungletek kickbass.
5 years into their long mission, spacecraft beaten up by kickdrums and space dust, Scratchbot and Manditron have reached a new solar system in a new galaxy, awash with new energy, planets and sounds.
Prepare your heads, ears and wormholes for later this year their latest broadcast will reach earth, awash with audio experimentation and radio interference.
DEADHEAD 2
Keep your eyes on the stars and hope for good news and their safe return.

//ANI AGI ASI//
Oracle
The Orishas all have their various ways through which they can be contacted, sought. Through acts of sortilege and geomancy, we can channel the frequencies of Orunmila and visualize them through the Ọ̀pẹ̀lẹ̀. It's configuration leads us to the relevant Odu within which our answers may be found
We have interlaced this simple algorithm (The ANI) with a context heavy language based intelligence (The AGI) all processed by the simulated cortex of an arguably undead Ifa priest (The ASI). A respectful synergy connects the three units and they forgo any operational hierarchies.
ANIAGIASI, arbiter of truths, responds through the monolith. Casting glyphs ablaze with digital incandescence in rapid succession, their patterns more important than syntax. The supplicants, in the posture of devout petitioners, await the divine, the unknown, the unknowable.

All rivers point to a source.
Worldbuilding and model drawings for a 10-plaque hand-carved mahogany totem.
The concept explores themes of making, architecture, and ecology informed by notions of Yoruba ancestral traditions and a projection of its future past.
These themes of ‘ Gbogbo odo lo no owo si olokun’, are explored through 3 interdisciplinary practices.
1. Marking: 10 hand-carved mahogany wooden planks
2. Drawing and Animation: a series of animated drawings
