A night born from friendship, passion for obscure records, a moribund local nightlife and fuelled by the VV forum - 2002 til 2007ish at the Afroba now Milk. August 2003, rare photographic evidence of an event called Brillo - the real world manifestation of the online forum Vinyl Vulture , albeit the metropolitan London branch (Salmon and Compass, Islington) A regular shindig of diggers, musicians, collectors, vinyl peacocks and aficionados. An opportunity to play out your latest finds, trade and generally socialise with like minded souls - like a musical allotment. If I’m not mistaken this melting pot delivered The Wolf People, many friendships and numerous additions to wants lists. The spirit continues this Easter weekend at B-Music and Agitation Free,, over two nights and cities, Manchester and Liverpool, VV members will gather en masse.
