But we weren't really much gone anyways. We're back with our heaviest show to date, welcome 𝗩𝗢𝗝𝗗𝗜, 𝗟𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗖 𝗩𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧!𝗟 at Venster99, 05.02.!
Yes, with Bar :-)
𝗩𝗼𝗷𝗱𝗶 are probably the most intense band coming from the Czech Republic at the moment. For us two Fractals, whose hearts cry when they hear The Dillinger Escape Plan, Vojdi are putting a band-aid on it. They craft intricate compositions with shifting motifs and unconventional rhythms, blending strains of math and prog rock, indie and shoegaze. Add art rock, industrial and experimental elements and the chaos is complete. Fast, fragmented arrangements, dissonances, staccatos and the most beautiful headache you can imagine. YEE
𝗟𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 from Scheibbs (Vienna, for some) blasted onto the scene some time ago and are most likely continue blasting as they are presenting a new EP! First gig at V99 as well. Noise Rock, Sludge, Doom, Stoner, early Mastodon-ish vibes, whatever you wanna ascribe to them: They are heavy, tight as hell and one of our dearest favourites. Happy to collaborate after talking about it for a long time <3
𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧!𝗟 from Vienna also blasted onto the scene (but more recently) and are hopefully here to stay. One of the city’s most exciting post punkers at the moment. Their sound fuses the raw urgency of post punk with
the hazy allure of dream pop—crafting music that is both confrontational and tender, sharp-edged yet melodic. Driven by propulsive rhythms, washed-out guitars, and atmospheric synths, they create a sonic space that pulses with intensity and introspection. Very happy to have them with us on this evening!
