Shoutout to @onelaclean for organizing and constantly activating to serve the community in LA. Last Sunday he called on volunteers to feed hot meals to our neighbors in MacArthur Park. The goal was to serve 60 people but we honestly might have served way more. If we had food, they weren’t turned away.
Being someone who lives so close to the park, it wasn’t hard to say Yes to giving a few hours from my Sunday to help out. I put together care bags of supplies and designed informational sheets to resources in the area. Just doing what I can with what I have and what I can offer like everybody else who volunteered! I encourage you to do the same!

It’s a crucial time to actually give a shit. The cost is too high not to. The powers that be are counting on you being tired or believing that you can’t make a difference. Give, volunteer, advocate, stay informed, VOTE, protest, donate, organize, grow, build! You can do plenty with what you already have!
First and foremost, ABOLISH ICE. Second, look out for yourself, neighbors, and your community. We all we got! Please keep up to date on the news and stay informed on your rights. These days, things change and happen often. As of September, this is what’s suggested on ACLU’s website if ICE arrives at your home.
Went to my first card show as an attendee and left with more money than I came with. Went to @lacardexpo to support the homie @j_cacha at @kantokollective_tcg and to hang out with the boys. Sold a few of my OG cards to him and the neighboring booth. Some folks told me to hold on to them, but they were doing nothing but collecting dust and I thought it would be better to have them go to somebody who would better appreciate them. Maybe it’ll help somebody complete a set or something! I was able to leave with a couple hundred bucks, so no complaints here! #pokemon #vintagepokemon #cardshow

As long as there’s people in need, we’ll keep showing up. This past Sunday, @onelaclean once again organized a community feeding to help the unhoused and our neighbors in need. What I appreciate about @onelaclean ’s version of community feeding is that he structures it in a way where folks are seated and we serve them, allowing them to take a load off, choose their lunch, and leave with an empty stomach and treated with dignity like everybody should.
This time around, I was able to put together 50 carebags with canned food, snacks, water, and an info sheet with the generosity of a few people who donated $$$. I’m truly grateful to you all! I’m hoping to pack more of these bags in the future.
I also brought some excess @cleanslateswapmeet trade/swap clothes to add to the donations from other volunteers. We were able to directly give clothes to those in need.

Very grateful to have San Diego’s support for our first Clean Slate back to where it all began. CLEAN SLATE IS BACK IN SAN DIEGO ON SUNDAY 3/22. Taking it back to where it all started with @titoricks and looking to re-build our community out there with our new mission.
