Honey Balm is a healers-for-healers evening of reciprocity & collective care, held by the vision & generosity we all bring to the circle. This is a potluck gathering inspired by the honeybee & the acronym BALM: Belonging, Access, Listening, and Medicine.
Together we will co-create sacred space through altar building, an opening prayer & meditation honoring the four directions, & explore the wisdom of circles to nurture & support both personal & collective capacity to resolve & envision.
This healing justice based container will be guided by @remember_thisfeeling , @jxsmineayala & @vwhitehawk .
Please feel free to bring a personal sacred item or earth offering (flowers, crystals, feathers, shells, etc.) to add to our collective altar.
Iāll be at @openmarket.la tomorrow with @cleanslateswapmeet celebrating 5 years of community! So thankful for @openmarket.la , I regularly go there to journal and itās my favorite community hub in Ktown. Always welcoming and greeted with kindness. And @cleanslateswapmeet is easily my favorite market, no other market out there practicing sustainability and accessibility like them. Everyone is so supportive and uplifting. I hope to see you there, Iāll be offering community care chair massages and will have zines!
Save the date! HoneyBALM 03 is next month on March 17 at @sovern.la š We will have a potluck, a discussion around Healing Justice principles and a restorative practice facilitated by Ayurvedic practitioner nisha ahuja of @elemental.joy.wellness . ninishaās practice is dedicated to dissolving the boundaries between traditional medicines, ceremony, spirituality, art, and social equity, as fundamental to our collective liberation. š¹ At our gathering last month we made zines as a way to seed intentions for the new year. This is an emergent-community, fostering connection as nourishment, and sharing our medicine as healers. Hope to see you!
Itās time for HoneyBALM 02! Shed the old skin and seed the new cycle. Join us for a ritual zine making to close out the snake year and seed intentions for the horse year. There will be meditation and breathwork by Nicole to open our circle, and zine making led by Jeanne. Potluck vibes so bring something to share. Come as you are, we canāt wait to share space and alchemize together
Join us in celebrating our second of Itās Okay to Try, By Way of Usā magazine. Intentionally set for the first of the new year, we want to set aside time to come pick up, read, write, reflect, in the company of community lead by our favorite facilitator and friend @jeanneannheo of @remember_thisfeeling . Our amazing friend @hoclifford will be selling coffee āļø

The Burnout. The Heartbreak. The Grief.
Collective and our individual experience. Itās a lot to tend to. And it was never meant to be done isolated. For our lives to be sustainable, for our work to be sustainable, it must be done with collective power. This is what Honey BALM is for. To soothe the nervous system from overwhelm and fatigue. To strengthen our connections with each other. To share our medicine with each other, the sweetness of community.
This will be an emergent community, honoring the rituals of time (moon-thly, seasonal). The first gathering is Tues NOV 11 at @sovern.la from 6-8pm. Come share a meal, meet other healers, and learn about what it means to be a healing justice practitioner. Hope to hug you š«šļø
