Los Angeles, CA – As ICE raids ramp up under this administration, it’s more important than ever to stand in solidarity with immigrants and Mexican Americans who help shape this country. No matter where we come from, we all seek safety, opportunity, and a better future for our families. The strength of this nation has always been built by those in search of a better life, just as generations before us did. We must also acknowledge that much of this land was taken through colonization, and in many ways, we are all immigrants navigating a history of displacement. Solidarity is the way forward.

Welcome to The Creative Pain 👋✏️
If you’re new here, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and say I appreciate you 🤘
I’m Tyler. I’ve spent the past decade navigating the creative industry—from a small town in South Carolina to Los Angeles—working as a graphic designer, illustrator, and Art Director.
Along the way, I’ve explored everything from brand and print to web and consumer products. Some of the best experience came from trying different paths—agency, freelance, and corporate. Each step shaped how I approach my work today.
Through that process, I found a real passion for consumer products, illustration, and Art Direction. One of the most rewarding parts has been sharing that journey—through workshops, keynotes, and conversations around finding your voice as a creative.
Looking ahead, I’m focused on new collaborations, partnerships, and continuing to grow as an artist and designer.
The Creative Pain started as a passion project and has grown into the foundation for everything I do—rooted in process and built around a community that supports and pushes each other forward.
Thank you for the support—and don’t forget to pass it on. Community is everything.

@cassmccombs + band at the Lodge Room last Friday. threw in a few shots from opener @hand.habits too. also spotted Jerry Hsu in the crowd, which makes sense since his Bag of Suck part is basically how I found out about Cass McCombs. thanks @lodgeroom for the photo pass!
