In this year’s graduates showcase, you’ll witness the hardwork these 8 directors have poured into their films throughout the year.
Don’t forget that the Australian public will also be able to stream these films from the ACMI website as part of @melbfilmfest program spotlighting all 2025 VCA Graduates. Available until the 22nd of Dec 2025.

Huge congratulations to VCA Film and Television alum @adam_elliot_clay on receiving a 2025 Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Film for his animated feature Memoir of a Snail!
This is Adam’s second brush with the Oscars — the writer/director also won Best Animated Short Film in 2004 for Harvie Krumpet.
