Something we’ve noticed recently is that the men DO NOT get enough recognition on our feed (& in the wedding industry). Usually understated, but such an integral part of the overall look and feel of the day. These men SHINED in @_plaintej and Michael’s wedding. The mix of brown and black shoes, different sunglasses, and pulled it off so well! Swipe to see the women all in ivory with their parasols! Tej and Michael got married at @mansiononmainstreet but got ready and did their first look at Vaux! I’m flipping through a few galleries this morning & WILL be filling your feed with all the beauty & grace.

We often feature inside the space but honestly, outside is just a lovely! The way the sun peaks over the brownstones across the street, and creates this pattern of light through the trees is truly stunning. Spruce street is so picturesque. If the weather is well behaved, we strongly encourage our couples to facilitate first looks outdoors and to venture outdoors for photos on the cobblestone streets & tree lined alleyways. If you’re around on Sunday June 28th, take a walk around the city and pop into say hi! We will be in studio from 10am to 2pm. Our first ✨Studio Spotlight✨ shines on @daria_m_photography . A photographer, artist, and constant source of inspiration. Daria first photographed at Vaux in late 2019, and from the very beginning, we were completely captivated by her work. Her editorial eye and instinct for capturing “real life” moments makes her galleries feel timeless with deep emotion. Producing imagery that lingers long after you’ve seen it. Every frame holds movement, grace, and elegance that feels effortless. There’s a cinematic quality to the way she documents people and spaces, refined yet intimate, polished yet deeply human. Her work reminds us that beauty often lives in the in-between moments: a glance, a gesture, the softness of motion. Beyond her immense talent behind the camera, Daria is simply a delight to work with. Endlessly kind, effortlessly cool, with a wicked fashion sense. We feel incredibly lucky to have watched her artistry evolve over the years and are honored to continue sharing her work within the walls of Vaux.
