Throwing it back today to @animenyc today and the AMAZING group of one piece cosplayers i had the pleasure of working with! Im sure many of yall have seen my work with them before, but a big special shoutout to @hailiumworkshop and @duske2dawne ! Ive been working with them across several conventions now, and they UNDENIABLE bring some of the most immaculate and wholesome/positive energy to every event they attend. Not only did i get the chance to work with them during ANYC weekend, but I had the opportunity to also meet and work with @vanpyrium ! All three of them absolutely rocked this photoshoot. Back on the high horse
… that’s how the saying goes, right?
My first official post here on my cosplay account, and what a better way to kick it off than with the thing that started it all — stilt walking. My first cosplay on stilts was as a 16 year old, K-2SO from Rogue One. It quickly grew addicting and was followed soon after by my Xenomorph from Alien and Iron Giant cosplays, both of which opened a lot of avenues for my dad and I in the cosplay and con scene. Now, after nearly a decade of walking on stilts (and starting the fad amongst @hailiumworkshop and @duske2dawne if I can toot my own horn a little here) I finally have the pleasure of owning my first pair of Durastilts! The difference between them and the homemade ones I learned on is astounding (and honestly it’s going to take some getting used to) but I can’t wait to see all I end up doing with them!
So excited to finally be back in the workshop and cosplay scene after my 3 year break. I can’t wait to be joining my dad and Duske on stilts at cons in the near future!

This is year 3 and the third time Duske and I are cosplay coordinators, so my spawn and I will be in coordinator tactical on Saturday during the masquerade while Duske works her magic as host 🥰
And we and the judges will be in inflatable dino suits on Sunday!
