redemption weekend 🤝🏽 this was never meant to be about a goal time. this 101.7km was about proving to myself that I could do this race. The belief in myself was there. I’d done the distance before, and further, endured worse. So, I came back this weekend to get myself across the finish line. I made so many changes to ensure I had the best race possible. Every single detail matters when you’re out there for so long and every race is a chance to refine the process. I’d figured out that my running vest was just TOO tight and restricting my breathing so I finally got myself a new, properly fitting vest; as a result I felt no tension or restriction in my breathing all race long. I’ve had so many gut issues in past races and finally, I got to roll out a plan with my nutrition and execute it at UTA where it worked perfectly. This was a massive win and such a weight lifted knowing I’ve found what works and I can only refine it further going forward. I came into the checkpoints calm, knew what needed to be done, reset and got back out there. My crew were my rocks. Quick to switch out flasks, replenish nutrition and make sure I left with everything I needed. Coming into the 37.7km CP I was texting @cassieselfe saying I was getting the nastiest chafe (I never chafe) and she found me body glide to save the day. I texted jamie at 78km that I just needed a cry and a hug and he was everything I needed in that moment of sheer exhaustion. To my crew and all supporters, everyone of you who was there for me at CP’s, you guys are so incredible. Us ultra racers couldn’t do this without you. CAPTION CONTINUED IN COMMENTS 🫰🏽

I’m now a CERTIFIED PT ✨🙌🏽 This has been a long time coming and the relief, excitement and pride I feel for getting both my cert iii & iv done these past (almost) two years is immense. It’s been hard juggling career changes, job changes, starting a new business, training, relationships and well life, but I always knew I would get this done because I knew I wanted to help who I can through their journey with health through strength training, because I know how much gym (& running of course) has helped me in many, many ways. I’m so so so grateful to be working out of the amazing @elevationfitnessgc amongst some respectable trainers. This gym is everything I could’ve asked for for me to start my career in this space. Although my coaching will be in time geared towards runners, I have a lot of passion for helping others fall in love with training, for themselves, to work towards the best version of themselves, feeling their strongest and most capable. DM me for enquiries if you’d like to work together towards your goals 🤝🏽✨

THANK YOU @ultratrailkosciuszko 🌧️⛰️✨ UTK50 was my first and only completed race for the year, and what a quality way to finish the year, feeling proud of myself for doing all the work needed to be able to complete a race and wrap up the year feeling this good. She started off cold, taking some time to warm up and adjust to the altitude but oh, when she did the heat really set in and we were in for a rather hot day. The goal was sub 6 but I soon accepted that we just needed to get over that line, and so we did in 7:00:11. This was the third race I’ve done with @rundoug77 and I’ll always be grateful for the beautiful friendship formed because of ultra. Glad we got another run together my friend. To my friends who raced over the weekend, you guys are incredible. No matter the distance you embarked on, you gave it everything and persevered through the conditions you were given and I’m so proud of each of you. Watching on and racing, seeing people pull out especially on Friday was carnage with unexpected 2hr pausing of the event for lightening storm protection rattled many, amongst the add on of rain and endless mud. Im so extremely proud of you all and you got the fire going again for me to begin my next 100km block in the new year at @ultratrailaustralia Every trail event isn’t complete without its community of spectators, volunteers and organisers and you all deserve a massive thanks for your selflessness to be out there supporting your people and everyone else you cheered for, or provided aid to and so on ❤️‍🩹 @ultratrailkosciuszko thanks for another year of trail running through Australia’s incredible Snowy Mountains. Thanks for keeping us safe, fuelled, supported and for organising this massive event 🤝🏽 time for some rest, let the hair down a little more and reset for the new year 🌞🥂 @create.lumina 📷 thank you for capturing everything that you did during Kosci, and in the way that you did, I’m so grateful for your time and effort over these last few days

just SO happy to be here @ultratrailaustralia it’s is such a privilege to be able to do UTA, this being my fourth year here, first 50km race in 2023, 100km DNF, 100km ✔️ & a solid 22km this year. The event, scenery & people are some of the best and I love coming back every time. I loved every minute of my race, even when I was gasping up the final stairs and cramping to the finish line, I was just stoked to be doing the thing I love alongside some pretty incredible people. @enkoperformance love your work, it’s been a good 5 months with you so far 🤝🏽 p.s. finally watched apex the night before racing and even without earphones I had this song playing through my head on repeat to keep me hustling through the course 🙈

it was a good day @gcrunningfestival proud to run for @bodyarmour.au on the weekend, coming back to the first half marathon race & distance I ran 5 years ago ✨ it’s still wild to me that I started running just under 6 years ago and this was the race that got me hooked. This weekend was surreal honestly. A full circle. It was so special to come back and give this course a good crack and I feel like I did just that, thanks to my coach @enkoperformance for your guidance & @bodyarmour.au for the quality hydration and opportunity to do this race once again. grateful to have H & @toby_connock66 by my side through that, kept me moving along, chin up and giving everything I could It’s quite a treat to do a local race and @gcrunningfestival put on a good event with some spicy hills to test us just that lil bit more 🌶️ well done to everyone this weekend, completing a half marathon is a big deal and ya’ll should be proud of that 🫶🏽

RACE WEEK @gcrunningfestival powered by @bodyarmour.au Super excited to be racing the half marathon this weekend at the GC Running Festival with Body Armour 🍇 My sodium intake has been replenished using the @bodyarmour.au electrolyte sachets, concentrate cordial and icy poles for the past few months to keep me fresh during my training weeks. Been putting in the work with @enkoperformance and ready to see where my mind and body is at for a half marathon 🙉

My fifth doubles Hyrox, this one was good for the soul. So great to get out there and race with Josie on her first time doing Hyrox. I enjoyed every minute out there and although this isn’t a sport I want to pour my time into it’s always fun soaking up the electric atmosphere & seeing so many people participating over the weekend. So much love to our beautiful support crew + @zachawyong for capturing this event so perfectly 🫶🏽 ••• Event: Hyrox Brisbane 2026 • @hyroxanz | • Athletes: Vanessa Angerer - @vanessangerer Josefin Nygren - @josienygren__ Shot, edited & produced by: Zachary Aw Yong • @zachawyong | @yewhoe.jpg

First HYROX done!! ✔️ Could have not have asked for a better partner to do it with than @vanessangerer !! What a team mate. Literally went into this race with zero expectations and happy to finish under 90 mins - and we smashed it!! I came out of this with so many lessons and I have SO much to work on. My running fitness truly pulled me through 😂 All in all I’m super stoked with this benchmark. Yewwww!!!

✨ fuelling ✨for Noosa 25k Nailed my fuelling for this race, carb loaded right the day before and consumed all the planned nutrition during the race at the right time stamps, leaving me ready for a strong race. @katy_bradley_nutrition thank you so much for your part in educating me properly on how to do this right for my races, couldn’t do this without you 🫶🏽
