THANK YOU

UTK50 was my first and only completed race for the year, and what a quality way to finish the year, feeling proud of myself for doing all the work needed to be able to complete a race and wrap up the year feeling this good. She started off cold, taking some time to warm up and adjust to the altitude but oh, when she did the heat really set in and we were in for a rather hot day. The goal was sub 6 but I soon accepted that we just needed to get over that line, and so we did in 7:00:11. This was the third race I’ve done with
@rundoug77 and I’ll always be grateful for the beautiful friendship formed because of ultra. Glad we got another run together my friend.
To my friends who raced over the weekend, you guys are incredible. No matter the distance you embarked on, you gave it everything and persevered through the conditions you were given and I’m so proud of each of you. Watching on and racing, seeing people pull out especially on Friday was carnage with unexpected 2hr pausing of the event for lightening storm protection rattled many, amongst the add on of rain and endless mud. Im so extremely proud of you all and you got the fire going again for me to begin my next 100km block in the new year at

Every trail event isn’t complete without its community of spectators, volunteers and organisers and you all deserve a massive thanks for your selflessness to be out there supporting your people and everyone else you cheered for, or provided aid to and so on ❤️🩹
@ultratrailkosciuszko thanks for another year of trail running through Australia’s incredible Snowy Mountains. Thanks for keeping us safe, fuelled, supported and for organising this massive event 🤝🏽

@create.lumina 📷 thank you for capturing everything that you did during Kosci, and in the way that you did, I’m so grateful for your time and effort over these last few days
