UTK wrapped up for 2024 ⚡️
Big weekend of racing for the crew down at @ultratrailkosciuszko . All competing in distances from the 32km to the 100miler.

With our Kosci crew in the mountains we kept things rolling. 1km & 400s keeping the short spicy sessions.

LACTATE THRESHOLDS 🙊
if you want to take your running to the next level, knowing your lactate thresholds and implementing them properly into your training is going to help you train way more efficiently and safely.
I did my testing at @pogophysio in Robina with @hj.menko and now I have real numbers based on my body to help me train at the right intensity (paces) and gain the most benefit out of each session. In the nearly two months that I’ve been training within my lactate thresholds my running has improved, I’m experiencing far less fatigue and yet training harder more frequently.
I’ll be retesting in a few weeks post Kosci to see how I’ve improved since training according to my lactate thresholds and I’ll update you along the way 🤝🏽
6 x 1km w 90” Rest. Summer sessions are in and we are moving smooth. Main focus is to use the heat to our advantage and not over cook the chook. Keep it smooth Gold Coast.
