No puedo creer lo bendecido que está siendo este 2026. El arte siempre ha sido parte de mi vida, y nunca quise dedicarme a algo que no me hiciera feliz. Hoy, a mis 18 años, soy luchadora profesional, actriz y estudiante de diseño de modas gracias a que mi familia me inculcó el perseverar. Hace dos años debuté como actriz sin imaginar hasta dónde podría llegar. Tenía miedo, ya que no contaba con experiencia, pero de la mano de mis compañeros logré entenderlo todo en poco tiempo. Hoy estoy agradecida y emocionada de poder decir: LUCHA DE LUCIA LLEGA A NEW YORK ✨

I am thrilled to be part of the Tribeca Festival 25th Anniversary in the Shorts Program “Competitive Edge.” I could not have asked for a better festival to have the NY premiere of "La Lucha de Lucia" (Lucia's Fight). It is so special to get to show a part of Tijuana to the city I have lived in for the past 10 years.
