We all know it’s hard to sustain oneself in the film industry, especially as an independent writer/director. This is why I owe an immense amount of gratitude to the writers/directors/producers who trust in me as an editor. I’ve truly come to love editing. I can lend my hand as a storyteller while entering the vivid worlds of other artists. I hope I continue to edit for years to come. So happy to return to @eldoradofilmfest with Hermano Hermana. Going to this fest back in 2015 was one of the best festival experiences I ever had. @alexanderjeffery and company sure know how to host a great show. Truly a fest for filmmakers, by filmmakers!

Dipping in and out of each other’s lives, but whether you existed as the center of my world or only on the periphery, the constant has been my feelings for you. Such an honor to be included in Cosmopolitan’s list of The 57 Scariest Horror Movies of All Time. Full of all-timers like The Exorcist, Get Out & Talk To Me to name a few. The real gift however is that @heartcantbeat continues creeping its way to new audiences. My sweet mama. I love you more and more every day, but even more so on the day you were gifted to this world. Despite everything you’ve been through, you embody love, wholly and purely. Happy day to all the exemplary fathers I’m surrounded by, both old and new. All role models for the father I may become one day. All selfless in spirit, and relentless with love.
