I thought it was Tangiers. Personal project with @clement_laguardia1 and @giorgioarmani
We put it together in a small book accompanied by a poem I stumbled upon during the trip called “I thought it was Tangiers I wanted” by Langston Hugues, written in 1927.
The last paragraph says:
“Happiness lies nowhere,
Some old fool said,
If not within oneself.
It’s a sure thing
Notre Dame is in Paris,—
But I thought it was Tangiers I wanted.”

I thought it was Tangier - A visual exploration of the city with the best accomplice @clement_laguardia1 -
Ever since watching Jim Jarmusch’s “only lovers left alive”, I’ve always wanted to visit Tangier. It felt so cinematic, mysterious and elegant. So we spent a few days walking around, discovering, taking photos along the way.
I ended up seeing singer Yasmine Hamdan perform last night in Paris, who makes an appearance in that movie so it felt very full circle. Thank you so much @mahjoubamonfort@giorgioarmani@emporioarmani for the beautiful clothes that fit the project perfectly.
