Day 7 of Volunteer Appreciation Week features Jill Anderson and her husband, John.
“I stumbled upon the Vail Dance Festival years ago while staying at our timeshare, when the Bolshoi Ballet was here. I was hooked and have been attending ever since. Several years ago, I decided to give back and usher the performances. It’s been so fun! I’ve met great people and helping Festival Patrons is rewarding. The Vail Valley Foundation is an absolute joy to volunteer for, and I feel very appreciated. My husband John joined once he retired, and chose to be a volunteer driver. He loves getting to meet the dancers. We make a vacation out of it every summer!”
From ushering performances to supporting artists behind the scenes, Jill and John help make the Vail Dance Festival a welcoming and memorable experience for all. We’re so grateful for their dedication and the joy they bring to our community 🙌
