"Paris is a city we’ve always felt at home in. It also has a strong and organic relationship with photography—hardly surprising, given the medium’s historical roots in France—with a dense network of institutions, agencies, festivals, publications, collectives, and fairs shaping its scene."💫 Following the highlights from Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Part 1, we continue reading about @platformbygapo 's encounters in Paris. Being in Paris felt like "coming home again", in @serdarimo 's own words.💌 "Next Time (Hopefully Not) in 22 Years - Part 2" is now on VAHA website (link in bio).🔗

Today we share a story of movement from another participant in the VAHA Learning and Mobility Grant. Serdar and Refik from PLATFORM by GAPO visited Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Paris in March 2026. @serdarimo not only sincerely shares his impressions and experiences with us, but also describes how vital and exhilarating it is to cross borders for cultural work. He reminds us the meaning of our struggle for our freedom of movement against stricter visa regimes and dwindling mobility opportunities for cultural workers in Turkey. Heartwarming encounters and revelations occur while we are on the go.❤️🐾 Here are some photos from "Next Time (Hopefully Not) in 22 Years - Part 1" where you may see their travel's highlights from Amsterdam and Rotterdam.🚴 More photos and the full text are waiting for you on VAHA website (link in bio).🔗

“...visit to Cologne offered an opportunity to observe how women’s solidarity and cultural-artistic production are shaped within a diasporic context. These practices, emerging from similar needs across different geographies, revealed a strong foundation for shared learning and long-term collaboration.” With the support of the VAHA Learning and Mobility Grant, in March 2026, Saliha Ayata, Zeynep Turkut and Piya Coline Özçelik from @kasedjin traveled to Cologne, Germany. ✨ Learning and Mobility Grant is one of the essential elements of the transnational phase of VAHA, provided to support the professional development of cultural actors. On March 18th we gathered with the VAHA network in Ankara. We had many inspiring exchanges, lots of laughs and hugs.🚀 The day started with a discussion on censorship, self-censorship and resistance in the arts and culture fields. In the afternoon, we discussed how and why cultural production persists under crisis, repression and uncertainty. After the panels, we enjoyed an excerpt from “Anlat Aşko”, a performance developed and staged as part of VAHA III. 🌞Thank you all for joining us, it was so nice to catch up with you! 📸Here are some photos from the day taken by Kerem Turgut @keremturgut
