@thelosttwo just found what many travelers are calling the “Bali of the Caribbean” 🌋🏝️ Welcome to Guadeloupe.. A tropical escape just 4 hours from the East Coast that feels worlds away. With lush jungles, volcanic peaks, waterfalls, black-sand beaches, and crystal-clear water, it’s easy to see why people compare it to Indonesia’s most famous island 🤯 If you’re dreaming of a warm-weather escape this winter, this Caribbean paradise deserves a spot on your list 🔥 Via: @thelosttwo

A real-life underwater fairytale in the Galápagos 💍🌊 What started as a drift dive quickly became the moment @maxwelhohn and @cailinlindsay will remember forever. Hidden beneath the waves was a treasure chest carrying a ring, a love letter, and one unforgettable surprise. ❤️ After more than a year of secret planning, Maxwell pulled off an underwater proposal in one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. But things almost didn’t go as planned. Strong currents nearly swept the chest away… until, in a moment that felt straight out of a movie, a sea turtle appeared to be guarding the exact spot where it landed. 🐢✨ When Cailin opened the chest and realized what was happening, the emotions said it all — tears in her mask, laughter through the regulator, and an immediate yes beneath the surface. 🌎💫 Huge shoutout to @galaxy_diver_liveaboard and everyone who helped bring this incredible moment to life. 🎥 & 📸: @zimydakid @stevewoods @emmett_sparling @nicole.holmann #proposal #engagement #love #lovestory #ocean

Japan is opening the world’s first official Pokémon airport this summer ✈️⚡🇯🇵 Starting July 7, Noto Satoyama Airport in Ishikawa Prefecture will officially transform into “Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport” through September 2029 — becoming the first airport on Earth themed entirely around Pokémon. Travelers will be greeted by giant Pikachu displays, hidden Flying-type Pokémon throughout the terminal, exclusive merch and food, themed sightseeing buses, and even a massive floating Pikachu balloon soaring above the airport atrium 🥹 The project is also part of a larger effort to help revitalize Japan’s Noto Peninsula following the devastating 2024 earthquake, blending tourism, nostalgia, and local recovery into one unforgettable destination. Would you fly here just for the experience? 👀 #pokemon #japan #travel #pikachu #anime

A church that almost doesn’t look real ✨ Rising from a sea of purple blooms in Chengdu, China, the “Shadowless Church” has gone viral for its surreal, glowing appearance. Designed by architect Li Hao, the structure is wrapped in translucent polycarbonate columns that diffuse sunlight so softly, the building appears to cast almost no shadow at all. As daylight moves across the landscape, the church seems to fade into the sky — glowing from within like a mirage. The minimalist design was created to symbolize purity, spirituality, and the idea of light existing without darkness. It feels less like architecture… and more like a hallucination suspended in nature. 🤍 #architecture #design #chengdu #china #church

@y.odamon captured some of the tiniest little snowballs with wings 🥹🤍 Meet the long-tailed tit.. the fluffy little bird often nicknamed a real-life “snow fairy.” During winter, they puff up into tiny round cloud-like fluffballs that barely even look real. ❄️🪶 ✨ These birds are incredibly social and travel in close family groups. 🐣 If one pair loses their nest, nearby long-tailed tits will often help adopt and raise the chicks. 🏡 Their nests are astonishingly intricate, woven from moss, feathers, and spider silk so flexible they can stretch as the babies grow. 💞 On freezing nights, groups of up to 20 cuddle tightly together to stay warm — basically a tiny feathered sleepover. Honestly, nature designed these little birds to be impossibly adorable 🥹🤍 Via: @y.odamon #birds #birdsofinstagram #nature #wildlife #winter

A small act of kindness that people can’t stop talking about 🥹🚄 While riding Japan’s famous bullet train, a Japanese couple noticed traveler Abdullah Ghazanfar trying to photograph Mount Fuji through the window as the train sped past. Instead of staying seated and blocking the view, they immediately ducked down and moved aside so he could capture the perfect shot of the iconic mountain. 🗻✨ Such a simple gesture, yet a beautiful reminder of thoughtfulness and respect while traveling. #Japan #MountFuji #Kindness #Travel #Storytelling

This might be every book lover’s ultimate dream 📚🏡 In the tiny Scottish town of Wigtown — officially known as Scotland’s National Book Town — there’s a one-of-a-kind Airbnb called The Open Book where guests don’t just stay above a bookstore… they actually get to run it. ✨ Visitors live in the cozy apartment upstairs while spending their days organizing shelves, recommending novels, chatting with travelers, and opening the shop to the local community below. Some even host poetry nights, wine tastings, and book clubs during their stay. What started as a creative residency project became so popular that the experience now books out years in advance, drawing book lovers from all over the world to this quiet seaside town filled with independent bookstores and literary charm. 📖🌊 Would you spend a week running your own bookstore? 🥹 #Books #Bookstore #Scotland #Airbnb #Booklover

@voyagefox_ discovered some of Egypt’s most breathtaking ancient wonders 🇪🇬✨ 👸🏻 The Temple of Hatshepsut honors one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egyptian history, rising dramatically beneath the cliffs of Luxor. 🐪 Abu Simbel, deep in southern Egypt, is carved directly into the mountainside and guarded by four massive 20-meter-tall statues of Ramses II. ✨ Karnak Temple feels especially magical at sunrise or just before sunset, when the crowds thin and the ancient columns glow in golden light. 💦 Philae Temple sits peacefully on an island in the Nile and can only be reached by boat, making the journey there part of the experience. 🐊 Kom Ombo is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile, and even houses real crocodile mummies discovered at the site. 🧡 Edfu Temple is one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, famous for its towering architecture and easy stop along a Nile cruise route. 📌 SAVE these incredible temples for your future trip to Egypt ✨ Via: @voyagefox_ #egypt #egypttravel #bucketlist #luxor #history

A travel “hack” using VPNs is making the rounds again, with travelers claiming they’ve found cheaper flight and hotel prices simply by changing their virtual location. 🌍✈️ By switching their IP address to countries like India, Brazil, or Vietnam, some users report seeing the exact same trips priced 10–40% lower than what appears in the U.S. or Europe. Screenshots shared online show noticeable differences on identical bookings. The strategy takes advantage of dynamic pricing systems, where travel websites adjust fares based on factors like location, browsing history, and even device type. Many travelers say using incognito mode, clearing cookies, and comparing prices across multiple VPN locations can sometimes unlock lower rates. But there’s a catch. While using a VPN itself is legal in most places, some airlines and booking platforms prohibit IP masking in their terms of service. In certain cases, reservations can reportedly be flagged or canceled if billing information and booking locations don’t match. Have you ever tried this before? 👀 #travel #traveltips #vpn #travelhack #cheapflights

In Istanbul, cats aren’t just part of the streets… they’re part of the city itself 🐈🇹🇷 With estimates ranging from 125,000 to over a million cats roaming freely, it’s completely normal to see them curled up outside cafés, wandering through historic alleyways, or lounging beside landmarks like the Hagia Sophia. But unlike in many cities, they’re not treated as strays. Locals see them as “communal pets” — cared for collectively with food, water, shelters, and everyday kindness ❤️ Many residents also help vaccinate and neuter the cats, creating a unique bond between the people of Istanbul and their furry neighbors. These cats aren’t just surviving here. They belong here. Via: @hamit_gozen #istanbul #cats #catsofinstagram #turkey #turkiye
