Diving the Great Bear Rainforest. @fawnbluffprivatelodge is thrilled to announce a new partnership with @maxwelhohn and the @pacificprodive team - bringing unforgettable scuba diving experiences to the wild coast of British Columbia.
Nestled deep within Bute Inlet, on 340 acres of remote wilderness in the traditional territory of the Homalco First Nation, Fawn Bluff offers access to one of the richest marine ecosystems on earth. Beneath the surface, cold Pacific waters reveal vibrant marine life, towering kelp forests, and untouched coastal habitats waiting to be explored.
Divers may encounter giant pacific octopus, wolf eels, schools of salmon, steller sea lions, and some of the largest nudibranchs in the world - all thriving within these nutrient-rich coastal waters.
Humpbacks, orcas, and dolphins weave through these inlets while sea lions hunt and play along the shoreline. Ancient rainforest rises from the water’s edge into the mountains beyond, and each day is shaped by the rhythm of the tides and the untamed spontaneity of the wild.
Whether you’re an experienced diver or discovering the underwater world for the first time, this is an invitation to experience the Pacific Northwest in its rawest form.
Adventure continues beyond the dive: salmon fishing with our captain, setting prawn and crab traps, paddle boarding through hidden coves, shoreline picnics, and wildlife encounters throughout the Salish Sea and Desolation Sound.
This is more than a dive trip. It’s a complete immersion into coastal wilderness.

After six months of filming across the rugged West Coast of Canada, I’m proud to share West Harbour Heroes - a new series I worked on as Director, Series DOP, and Producer.
From SAR Techs, Coast Guard crews, First Nations communities, and DFO officers to deep sea divers, animal rescue teams, beachcombers, and the many people quietly dedicating their lives to protecting and supporting these coastal communities. West Harbour Heroes is a celebration of the people who make life on the West Coast possible.
Keep an eye out… you may recognize a few familiar characters along the way 😉
Premiering June 16 on USA Network CA
Streaming June 17 on Crave TV

In celebration of mothers everywhere, here’s one of my favorite sequences featuring a walrus and her calf learning to swim. I feel privileged to travel to these remote areas and share insights into the natural world. Much of my creativity and curiosity stem from my mom, who made my life possible. So thank you mom, and here’s to you!

Valentine’s come in all shapes and sizes and different forms of love. Find yourself someone who cares for you as much as this sea otter mom cares for her pup
Sea otters have large web feet that function like flippers for propulsion in the water. Their paws remain small and dexterous for handling food and grooming
Moms come in all shapes and sizes and from different walks of life, but their instinct to nurture, protect, and give life is the same. Here’s to all the moms of the world - thank you for your patience, your love, your wisdom and your support 💙
Piranhas of the North! These are Cunner fish found in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. I had a few chunks of neoprene taken out of my suit, hood and gloves from them! Skinny dippers beware 😂
