Is this the world’s best travel experience? 🧊🐋🏔️🛳️ We just spent 7 days cruising through Alaska with @celebritycruises on board the newly Renewed Celebrity Solstice, sailing through snow covered fjords, passing the incredible Hubbard Glacier, exploring cute little coastal towns, looking for whales, seeing orcas from our balcony, and taking a helicopter over the mountains to explore a 3,000 year old glacier on foot. And back on board, the ship itself was just as insane. There are so many new spaces, like Trattoria Rossa, where the handmade pasta and tableside tiramisu legit rivaled some of the best food we’ve had in Italy. There’s also Sunset Park, this huge outdoor lounge at the back of the ship with some of the best views on board, The Parlor for cocktails and board games, and Boulevard Lounge for entertainment and drinks. If you’re looking for a once in a lifetime trip, we seriously can’t recommend an Alaska cruise on the newly Renewed Celebrity Solstice enough. We just spent the last week exploring a part of Switzerland we honestly knew very little about before, and it completely surprised us in the best way possible. We spent 7 incredible days in @myvaud exploring @montreuxriviera and @paysdenhaut , and here are some things you can’t miss: 🚆 Getting Around Switzerland’s public transport is amazing. We used a Swiss Travel Pass for unlimited trains, buses, and boats. You do NOT need a car here! 🏡 Where to Stay Stay along the lake in Vevey or Montreux for easy access to everything, and head into Pays d’Enhaut (we stayed in Château d’Oex) for a quieter mountain escape. 📍 Things to Do • Stroll the lakeside promenade in Montreux (especially during tulip season) • Visit Château de Chillon in Montreux • Explore Chaplin’s World in Vevey • Walk through the Lavaux vineyards (UNESCO wine region above Lake Léman) • Experience the Belle Époque train from Montreux to Rougemont • Explore alpine villages like Château d’Oex and Rougemont in Pays d’Enhaut • Visit the village of Rossinière, one of the most beautiful in Switzerland This region has such a perfect mix of lake, mountains, culture, food, and slower paced experiences. We found one of Switzerland’s prettiest regions 🇨🇭🍷🎶 If you’re coming to the Swiss Riviera, do yourself a favor and DO NOT miss a visit to the Lavaux vineyards!!! A UNESCO protected wine region where terraced vines stretch above Lake Léman, with little villages, mountain views, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. And if you can, try to time your trip for April so you can experience @cullyjazz in the lakeside village of Cully. Every year, live music takes over the streets, wine cellars, and venues across town as thousands of people come together for one of the region’s most loved traditions. It’s such a fun local experience, something people look forward to all year long, and not the kind of thing you’d usually find on a typical Switzerland itinerary.
