On Sunday, 24th of May we present: Underground Frequencies w/ Rheinpulse @va.gn in Bonn. We are very happy to arrange our first event at our local heroes club - subsequently to their Community Day. Therefore we would love to invite you to join us for a special underground vibe - blending raw frequencies, driving dub sounds and hypnotic grooves. For this debut night it was very important for us to curate a finely selected lineup and extended sets, giving patience and time for both the music and the artists to develop a sonic athmosphere rooting us in the moment of resonance. LINEUP @lenny___san (madra.electronics) We are very excited to proudly announce Lenny San. In the recent years he made his name as an uprising producer, DJ and live act. His sound is heavily influenced by dub techno aesthetics, straight forward kicks and a refined sense for groove, creating an immersive listening experience. @ein.organismus Our Friends @no_andra & @_einzeller_ join us as founders of their new dubby, groovy and hypnotic techno based project and artist collective. Both of them stand for a passionate and well selected sound, blending energetic and engaging grooves. @mars.flac (Rheinpulse) Rheinpulse resident M.AR.S will complete the lineup. In his DJ sets he is always trying to reflect his love for the wide range of electronical music, combining elements of several house and techno genres to an improvised mix - always with focus on a groovy and story-telling structure. LINEUP ⌄ DJ Ass Tits - @dj.asstits DJ ASS TITS, formally DJ TITS ASS aka DJ guter Übergang, is also known as Nikki, a party mouse from Cologne. She’s part of @hyperlovecollective and cofounder of the queer music festival @koelnchella But what kind of music does DJ ASS TITS actually play? She can’t tell you that either, because DJ ASS TITS doesn’t really care about music genres (also she can’t tell them apart). Probably something with techno or breakbeat. Doesn’t matter anyway, the main thing is t get ur a$$e$ to $hake. Jan Oben - @obenjan Jan Oben has paved his way as a DJ from organic to electronic music, shaping his unmistakable sound in the process. This development can still be heard in his sets, in which he blends a variety of rhythms and sounds from all corners of the world. His focus lies on driving percussive elements, which he combines with powerful basslines. As a founding member of “Das ist das Ja” and host of the radio show “call it a day” he brings years of experience behind the decks and incorporates his own productions. Miguel Ángel - @miguelito_o_o On opening duties we present our very own va:gn resident Miguel Ángel. Expect a tone setting selection ranging from chill house music to energetic breaks and beyond. Be early and lose yourself in some sweet rhythms during the early hours. Next up on March 21st we present Underground Frequencies w/ @atlas___sound x @bonnbetterknow at @va.gn in Bonn. For the headliners we’ve invited @lizzlbeth and @miezibub - two selectors with a sharp ear for weighty bass and dancefloor rhythms. Expect a wide-ranging, deep-cut selection moving through UK Garage, Dubstep, Jungle and Drum & Bass. A session that leans into the full spectrum of soundsystem culture and drifts through the many corners of bass music. Alongside them, members of Atlas & BBK will open the space and close it down with their trademark blend of roots-soaked selections - from warm, echo-drenched Roots Reggae and Dub to rolling, bass-heavy strains of Drum & Bass. Noxy @noxy_foxy Our very own resident Noxy will close it down with a refreshing mixture of driving, atmospheric Techno and pumped up bouncy beats. Her distinct feel for hitting the sweet spot between straight forward rhythms and naughty beats make her sets as much fun and playful as also hypnotic and trippy. No:andra @no_andra no:andra is a Bonn-based DJ and co-founder of @ein.organismus , a project focusing on groove-heavy, hypnotic, and dub-infused techno. LINEUP @alfalfa.wav Vinyl Only DJ (but not smug about it) Alfalfa was the resident DJ of Menudo After and Teoria Prado in Uruguay. Since his move to Germany he has founded DAKT and Mephis, and has made a name for himself in cologne’s scene as well as playing gigs worldwide. His selection ranges from fresh house to spooky electro and everything in between, always putting the dancefloor first. @mfskathi Skathi blends House, Disco, and Garage with a sense of groove and a feel for what keeps a dancefloor moving. With roots in Münster’s @kollektivantje and as a co-founder of @flintatunes , based in Cologne, she’s been shaping spaces for music and community from the very beginning. Whether on vinyl or digital, her sets are driven by warmth, rhythm, and a commitment to creating spaces that feel inclusive, energetic, and genuinely shared. @quintin.copper With Quintin Copper on opening duties there’s no doubt about a smooth warm up experience. As a musician and producer first and foremost, he will explore the vibrant sounds of Disco and Funk, so you’ll feel right at home from the first beat to the last groove. @speedticket.190 Our very own Speed Ticket is armed to the teeth with nothing but pumping Speedgarage and groovy Hardhouse bangers. On November 22, we’re back with another edition of @groove._.operators at va:gn. Opening the night, @quintin.copper takes you on a groovy journey through disco and funk. Hailing from Cologne, we welcome @mfskathi , co-founder of FLINTA*TUNES. Expect a bouncy, high-energy house selection. Another heavyweight from the Cologne scene: @alfalfa.wav joins the va:gn decks. Head of Mephis Records, he’s known for an expansive selection spanning electro, house, and beyond.
