With the second edition of our event series, we are also celebrating our very first event in beloved Cologne. For this occasion, we chose @club_subway as our host venue — a space whose sound system provides the perfect setting for an intense and powerful sonic experience. For the night, we have invited @emi.snc from Berlin: as a friend and co-founder of SNC-Recs, he brings a sound that never fails to hit. The line-up is completed by two established names from the local UK scene: @__sneakypete__ of @dailylemonradio and @lizzlbeth of @uksoundembassy . With their sharp selection, they will push the system to its full potential and deliver an impressive listening experience to the crowd. Expect a wide-ranging, deep-cut selection moving through UK Garage, Dubstep, Jungle and Drum & Bass. A session that leans into the full spectrum of soundsystem culture and drifts through the many corners of bass music. Atlas.fm is a mixtape series mapping the hardcore continuum from rave-era breakbeats and jungle through drum & bass to garage, two-step, grime and dubstep. Each volume treats the lineage as living practice - chopped breaks, sub-bass, shuffled grooves and studio-as - instrument - rooted in pirate radio, sound - system and DIY club culture. Made for both deep, contextual listening and club heat: history for the head, bass for the body. __________________________________ Lizzle @lizzlbeth drops high-energy UK garage, breaks & dubstep, laced with patois vocals and heavy bass. She is founder of uksoundembassy, an online outlet for UK Garage, Bass Music and underground finds and co-host of the UK GARAGEN events in Cologne. This radio session threads UK club currents - 2-step and speed-garage shuffles, bouncy UKG, and lean 140/half-time bass - framed as a narrative rather than a playlist. Producers here pivot between raucous floor-fillers and brief, introspective lapses: warm euphoria sits next to brittle percussion and half-time subs. Emotionally it’s urgent and communal - feet-moving, slightly nostalgic, with pockets of melancholic breath before each cathartic drop. The mix feels like a city at 2 a.m.: bright, bruised and insistently alive.
