The Cologne-based Indonesian DJ began his journey out of pure love for party culture—especially the dance floor. Starting as part of the crowd himself, his hobby of digging music and curating playlists just for fun, a hobby that eventually evolved into DJing.
He does play whatever he wants. He likes to take bold risk in his delivery as a DJ and doesn't want to sit in comfort zone.
For this episode, he takes listeners on a trip through Brazil and across South America, crafting a mixtape that blends the smoothie-like sound of fast, bouncy club beats with chopped vocals, triplet kicks, and rhythmic stop-and-go grooves of Jersey Club; fast broken drum loops with huge sub-bass hits of Breakbeat; A raw, percussive Brazilian club style based on hard drum machine loops and chant-style vocals of Baile Funk; and tribal percussion, uplifting Latin club energy of Guaracha; in the hope of introducing the genre to listeners. a catchy, flamboyant club sound for sure!

Born in 1995 and shaped by 90s culture and street culture, his foundation lies on hip-hop, but his sound moves far beyond a single genre. Blending Afro rhythms, Amapiano textures, Jersey Club energy, Grime influences, R&B, and fast, drum-driven club music, his sets are built for movement.
Global at its core, Warno's sound is defined by rhythm, bass, and cultural perspective—a fluid mix of influences that connect continents without being tied to one place.
