⚔️New piece on Bandcamp today!!!⚔️
Accretion
This piece began as a score based on a cellular automata that developed into the cover artwork and research around the black midi community. Interpreted for digital piano and synthesizer, it translates sonically to notes accumulating in density filling the sonic field; the cacophony reveals evolving patterns and structures. Where entropy seems dominant, order unfolds. Harmony and dissonance are not antagonists but complimentary.

Afterimages, 2025 (1 min excerpt) Work for amplified and deconstructed piano. The culmination of over a years worth research, this iteration foregrounds a direct dialogue with the weight of the instrument’s physicality and its three hundred years of history through disembodying and amplifying the afterimages of its resonance. Addressing the lingering effects of this moment in human technicity attempt to call into focus our relationship to perception, our bodies, and to the various scales / implications of time. @bardmfa

ME MER MO MONDAY MAY 20
I will be performing this Monday new works in collaboration with a stellar ensemble of @xppr5dash9@auxauxauxaux@sleepcopy
I’ve been cooking some compositions for groups performances with a focus on improvisation, man-machine relationships, and alternative composition techniques. Veering towards the generative, extemporaneous, and potentially clamorous.

Notes from Creative Sound Studies workshop: On the subject of the nature of improvisation, I kept coming back to these two pillars of experimentation. The story of how these two came to even collaborate is one of tenuous circumstances and serendipity.
Second slide is two quotes that echoing the same principle. Life without play is not life at all.
