A look into the first pin-ups and presentations from Architectural Studio 01, where students explored Yurong (Mrs Macquarie’s Chair) through sustained site engagement and learning from Country.
Over the first three weeks, students developed drawings and mappings grounded in direct observation and time spent on site, building an understanding of place through listening, noticing, and recording. These studies formed the foundation for a deeper reading of the site’s cultural, spatial, and environmental conditions.
