This prize was established in memory of former UTS Law student Tom Sylva by his family and friends.
This prize is awarded to an undergraduate Law student, particularly those with a disability and/or a long-term medical condition, with motivation to succeed in the area of Human Rights and Social Justice. Other educational barriers may be taken into account.
The successful recipients will receive a Booktopia book voucher to the value of $2,000, and the award will be recognised on their graduation documents. Up to two (2) Recipients will be awarded the Tom Sylva Award annually.
