As the 2025-26 term comes to a close, we wanted to say thank you to the 2025-26 SPSA Councils for all their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Some of their many accomplishments include:
• SPSA $2M Infrastructure Donation to Saskatoon’s Time to Rise Campaign
• Strategic Plan Revamp 2026 – 2031
• Implementation of $100,000 SPSA Student Scholarship Program
• Enhancement of SPSA Health & Dental Plan Benefits
• Advocate for Equitable Campus Services – Counselling, Cafeteria and Bookstore
• Entertainment Games for Student Lounges
• Federal Student Representation CASA Observer Membership
The incoming and outgoing SPSA Executive met with URSA @urstudentsassociation to discuss the formation of URSA, challenges and opportunities, along with and potential opportunities to collaborate toward provincial representation for students across Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan Polytechnic has received $2 million from the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students’ Association (SPSA) toward the new Joseph A. Remai Saskatoon Campus, marking one of the largest student-led infrastructure contributions in the institution’s history.
The infrastructure contribution supports the Time to Rise campaign and will help fund the design and construction of student-centred spaces that will help create a thriving campus community. It also contributes to the design and build of SPSA spaces within the new campus, reinforcing the association’s role in student engagement and leadership development. These spaces encourage student involvement, support student-led initiatives, and cultivate the confidence necessary to become leaders in industry and community.

This contribution will help fund the design and construction of SPSA and student-centred spaces, and reinforces the association's role in student engagement.
