We have so much gratitude for everyone that has come by, bought books, expanded space, made connections, co-conspired, supported and shared their knowledge & words throughout these past few years - this has been a truly meaningful project to us and we’re so thankful for everything 🩵
there are two support events for Palestine next weekend @detlillarum on the 11th & @unitedinsolidarity on the 12th. we will be there with the last of our books and some lino prints inspired by poet Zaina Alsous, who writes:

BOOKS4PALESTINE 🇵🇸📓❤️we have a bunch of backlog books left from various pop ups this year & are selling them in support of the Palestinian people in their fight for liberation against apartheid, settler colonialism, military occupation, and genocide
if you would like any of these books, dm us the title & how much you would like to donate (pay what you can, any amount is ok). Pick up either in nordvest this sunday or at @detlillarum next week. All of the money will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians

For a little while now we’ve been rethinking (un)told.
Over the course of our work we’ve sometimes felt that this project overtook us, that we’ve gotten caught up in ideas of growth or constantly moving towards something “more”.
We’ve been talking about what feelings and desires the project came from - connectivity, friendship, fun!! - and how we want to recentre that… to embrace smaller and slower things; intimacy, stillness, stagnation. We want to think about collective forms of knowledge and ways of making these more accessible. We want to move in tangents, valorise mess, failure, getting lost.
This means no festivals on the horizon & that we are shutting down the web-shop…we’re going to change some things around in terms of our work and goals. Right now we are putting energy towards realising our vision of one day having a physical space for a collective BIPOC archive/library❣️
We’re really happy to be changing and will share more once we figure out more. In the meantime you can still get last orders in – we’re closing down the shop on November 1. 🍂👯♥️ Elisabeth & Maya

we are two people running (un)told. We started up in 2019 (we don’t get any pay and have been kind of shit at taking breaks) on top of full time jobs and regular life stuff. We’ve realised it’s time for us to take a breather, so we won’t be taking on any more work, running the shop, on insta or answering emails until we are back, 1st of feb!
