We had the pleasure of producing a video for the @brightonhalfmarathon Youth Race this March, an event that brought together hundreds of children from schools across the county.
From the buzz at the start line to the determination shown all the way to the finish, it was incredible to capture the energy, spirit, and teamwork on display throughout the day.
Events like this are a brilliant reminder of the positive impact sport can have at a young age, building confidence, resilience, and a real sense of achievement.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making it such a memorable day. We’re proud to have played a small part in telling the story.

We created a full mock wedding, bride & groom, guests, catering, DJ, everything you’d expect from the real thing. Every detail carefully planned so we could capture something truly authentic, while still controlling every moment.
Calling “cut” during the first kiss was… a unique experience 🎬💍

Shooting night scenes with a child cast comes with real challenges. To capture the mystery and atmosphere we needed, several scenes were filmed day for night and transformed entirely in the grade.
Starting from the log image, our colourist built a filmic base and balanced every shot to a neutral starting point. Highlights were compressed using luminance curves to remove the daytime feel, while blues were introduced into the shadows and midtones to create a natural night tone.
Channel mixing was then used to reduce red and green values while preserving blue, compressing the image into a cooler spectrum without damaging the original data.
Bright skies were the biggest challenge. Careful shaping and selective sky replacements helped complete the illusion.
Nothing here was shot at night. This is the power of colour grading.
