About 20 years ago, I did a 10 month stint in the @themousetrapofficial . I managed to save a bit of cash and invested in a load of vintage posters. The time has come to let them go and hopefully do some magic. Crossing my fingers. If they realise what Iâm hoping for, just the minimum, itâll go towards a massive improvement in my career. Greg De Polnay was one of the few tutors at drama school whose words of wisdom live on in me and keep the drive going.
Some of you are kind enough to comment on my voiceâŚwell he nurtured that. He had a casual simplicity in analysing and breaking down texts to their basic intentions and he encouraged that doing nothing was still a performance. His warm-ups, his mantras, I still use them.
I could go on and on, but thatâll be later over a glass of wine, probably French.

Cannot believe itâs taken me this long to frame and mount the poster for the best short Iâve ever done. Someone made me remember it recently. I had a blast from the pastâŚfound the posterâŚmarketplace came up trumps and up it now is.

I felt, and still do that âCatchâ broke the mould. It is a subject no one wanted to know and acknowledge at the time and since Covid, no one wants to be reminded of, but itâs there and I wonât forget it. Especially now itâs on the wall! if anyone is interested.
